Effects Of Different Fertilization Treatments On Yield And Quality Of Bletilla Striata

The medicinal plant Bletilla striata is one of the Chinese medicinal materials that are used more frequently and cultivated in a large area in China.Therefore,the quality of Bletilla striata has attracted more and more attention.In this experiment,Bletilla striata was planted in soil cultivation.Three treatments six set up,T1:goat manure,T2:earthworm cast,T3:chemical fertilizer,T4:goat manure and chemical fertilizer,T5:earthworm cast and chemical fertilizer,CK:No fertilizer.The dynamic changes of soil composition content,growth,yield and quality under different fertilization treatments were studied.The main results are as follows:1.Fertilizer application can significantly increase the content of organic matter and various nutrient elements in soil.Earthworm manure and goat manure can significantly increase the content of organic matter in soil.It was 26.32%and 20.02%higher than CK treatment,respectively.Earthworm manure combined with chemical fertilizer could significantly increase the contents of total nitrogen,total phosphorus and total potassium in soil.It was 70.87%,63.28%and 27.18%higher than CK treatment,respectively.2.Fertilizer application can cause changes in the content of heavy metals in the soil.Pb,Cd,Hg,and As were significantly reduced by chemical fertilizer application alone.Single application of organic fertilizer will increase the content of Pb,Cd,Hg,and As in the soil.Combined application of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer can reduce the content of Pb,Cd,Hg and As in soil.3.Fertilizer application significantly increased plant height,ground diameter,leaf length,leaf width,number of split stems and yield.Compared with other treatments,earthworm manure combined with chemical fertilizer could significantly increase plant height,leaf length,leaf width and yield.It was 50.22%,24.18%,24.13%and 113.88%higher than CK treatment,respectively.4.Fertilizer application can significantly improve the quality of Bletilla striata.Compared with other treatments,Earthworm manure combined with chemical fertilizer significantly increased the contents of total phenols and polysaccharides.It was 116.37%and 72.54%higher than CK treatment,respectively.Earthworm manure combined with chemical fertilizer significantly increased the DPPH radical scavenging ability,FRAP antioxidant activity and ABTS~+radical scavenging ability of P.sinensis.In summary,under the condition of current farmland soil fertility in Ziyuan County,a real estate area of Bletilla striata in Guangxi Province,organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer cultivation can improve the soil physicochemical property,promote the plant growth and development,increase the tuber yield,improve the quality of medicinal materials,increase economic efficiency.The results provide a scientific basis for the ecological organic cultivation of Bletilla striata.It suggests that the Bletilla striata should be cultivated under organic fertilization and compound fertilization in the adaptive Bletilla striata productive area.
