| Cotton industry has become an important pillar to support the development of agriculture in southern Xinjiang.Since the implementation of the strategy of "South cotton and North grain",the growth rate of cotton industry in southern Xinjiang is obvious.As the cotton industry plays a huge role in the industrial chain and economic development of Xinjiang,its related industries,especially the cottonseed industry,also contribute to the economic development of Southern Xinjiang.As one of the important by-products of the cotton industry,cottonseed is an important cash crop.The quality of cottonseed not only affects its own economic benefits,but also affects the development of the cotton industry.After years of research,it has been shown that whether the cottonseed is depilated or not has a great impact on the germination rate,and the depilated cottonseed is 11 ~ 25% higher than the cottonseed with cashmere,so the depilation of cottonseed is extremely important.However,the cottonseed will be damaged in the process of cashmere removal.Only complete and healthy cottonseed can germinate normally.Due to the extensive promotion of precision sowing technology,the quality requirements of seeded cottonseed are higher and higher.Traditional classification methods such as air separation and screening have poor classification accuracy and long time-consuming.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to develop an accurate,rapid and non-destructive classification method for the cotton industry.This paper studies the classification method of healthy and damaged cashmere cottonseed by machine vision,which lays the foundation for the research and production of the screening device for cashmere cottonseed.The main contents of this paper are as follows(1)The images of healthy and damaged cottonseed were collected by image acquisition platform.The image acquisition platform of cotton seed is designed and made to collect the image of cotton seed.The objects are Xinhai 21,Xinluzhong 42 and Xinluzhong 49.When the cotton seed passes through the image acquisition platform,the image information of cotton seed is collected by industrial camera and transmitted to the computer.(2)Through MATLAB image processing technology,a variety of image preprocessing and feature extraction algorithms are studied.Firstly,the image of cottonseed is preprocessed by image graying,and then the contour of cottonseed is obtained by Canny operator.After preprocessing,the roundness and grain shape features of cottonseed image are extracted by feature extraction technology.According to the characteristic parameters extracted from the cottonseed,whether the cottonseed is damaged in the experiment can be judged.(3)The weight of three cottonseed in Xinhai 21,Xinlu 42 and Xinlu 49 was weighed.The material characteristics of cottonseed were measured.The resistance of cottonseed under the action of air flow was calculated.The selection of various parts of the lint seed screening device based on the overall size was completed.The design of the test platform was completed,and the test prototype was built according to the selection results.(4)The test was carried out on the completed sample of the lint removal equipment,and the healthy and damaged cottonseed cleaning rates of the three kinds of cottonseed were measured in Xinhai 21,Xinlu middle 42 and Xinlu.The cleaning efficiency of cottonseed was calculated according to the loss rate and cleaning rate.The test results showed that the device was safe and reliable.The research results of this paper can provide a reference for the further study of the machine vision screening process and the design optimization of the screening device. |
