As an important resource to support social and economic development, cultivated land can ensure the security of human food and ecological environment. With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in China, the problem of soil quality degradation is becoming more and more serious, which poses a serious threat to food security and ecological environment. The comprehensive evaluation of soil quality in important grain producing areas is of great significance to achieve the dynamic balance between soil quality quantity and quality and to ensure that the total land productivity does not decrease. The North China Plain is one of the main grain producing areas in China.Since 2000,under the guidance of national policies, major land renovation measures have been implemented, which have had a great impact on land quality. In this paper, the typical fluvo-aquic soil area of North China Plain, different land use patterns in Hebei Province and the National Field Scientific observation and Research Station of soil quality in Changping,Beijing were selected as the study area by the method of point-surface combination, with the measured soil data and survey data as the main data sources, according to the principal component analysis method and soil quality index method, combined with GIS spatial analysis technology. The evolution of soil quality of fluvo-aquic soil in North China and the quality evaluation under different land use patterns are of great significance to achieve the balance between land quantity and quality and to ensure that the total land productivity does not decrease. The main conclusions drawn from the above research are as follows:(1)Soil nutrients have been improved to varying degrees under long-term different fertilization management measures.Manure and incremental manure had the greatest effect on the improvement of soil nutrients, followed by straw returning to the field.Crop rotation had no significant effect on soil organic matter.Straw returning could improve soil microbial activity, and MBN,MBC,DON and DOC all increased to a high extent.(2)Long-term different fertilization treatments can improve soil quality in varying degrees, among which incremental organic fertilizer can improve soil quality most;long-term straw returning and crop rotation can improve soil quality, but compared with long-term application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, the change of soil quality is not obvious.(3)The smallest data set of soil quality evaluation in typical fluvo-aquic soil area of North China Plain is organic matter, slowly available potassium, available iron, hydrolytic nitrogen, available zinc, available phosphorus and available sulfur. The best combination of evaluation methods in fluvo-aquic soil area is SQIw-NL.The soil quality of the study area is high in the south and east and low in the north and middle.(4)The evaluation effect of non-linear scoring function is better than that of linear scoring function for soil quality of different land use in Hebei Province;for linear scoring function,SQIa method is better than the other two methods, and for nonlinear scoring function,SQIw method is better than the other two methods.Generally speaking, the evaluation index system based on SQIw-NL-MDS2 is better than other evaluation index systems.(5)The soil quality index under different land use patterns is woodland: > natural forage land > other woodland > paddy field > orchard > dry land > irrigated land > other grassland.
