The double-roll pelletizer completes the granulation process by squeezing granules,which has the advantages of good granulation,high production efficiency and convenient equipment maintenance,etc.In recent years,it has become the main equipment in the process of ceramsite forming.However,the previous design and manufacture of pelletizer is mainly based on experience.At present,there are still some problems,such as low yield,fast wear and easy cracking of pelletizer roller,large vibration and noise in the process of pelletizer.In view of the above problems,it is necessary to discuss and analyze the key technical problems affecting the performance of roller pelletizer.Firstly,the material rolling process and the single hole granulation process were theoretically analyzed,and the changes of density and pressure in the granulation process were preliminately discussed,and the effects of several main granulator parameters on the granulation process and granulation energy consumption were briefly introduced.Then,based on the Fluent software,the flow field of the material rolling process and the single hole granulation process was analyzed,and the change rules of the material flow rate,pressure,velocity gradient and other relevant main influencing factors in the granulation process were further explored.The reference value of the average extrusion pressure at the die hole inlet is extracted from the flow field analysis of the single die hole,which provides a numerical reference for the statics analysis and optimization of the press roller.And then established the simplified mechanical model of the roller surface,combined with the analysis of flow field numerical,average extrusion die entrance with different roller parameters for the modeling and finite element analysis,explores the opening rate,length-diameter ratio,support method for roller bearing state,the influence of the parameters and structure of roller are proposed optimization method.Finally,the vibration reason of the roller granulator is analyzed deeply,and the static analysis and modal analysis of the granulator frame under the condition of stable granulation are carried out by using ANSYS Workbench.The results show that there is no resonance between the frame and the power system.Then the statics analysis and fatigue analysis of the frame under extreme working conditions are carried out.According to the analysis results,the weak parts and material redundancy parts of the frame are pointed out,which points out the direction for the improvement of the overall strength of the frame and the lightweight design of the frame.In conclusion,on the basis of summarizing the research status,the granulation process was deeply studied by theoretical analysis and finite element simulation method,and reasonable suggestions were put forward for the optimization of equipment parts,which provided a reliable basis for improving the granulation effect,increasing the mechanical life and reducing the manufacturing cost.According to some of the optimization suggestions,the prototype is manufactured,and good practical results are achieved.
