Small and medium-sized steel roller round balers developed in our country often block up when whole rice straw is baled,which is difficult to sort out and takes a long time to put in order,and its degree of automation is also very low,which seriously affects its baling efficiency.With the rapid development of control technology,more and more automated and intelligent mechanical equipment,especially industrial controllers have strong anti-interference ability and good reliability,so the steel roller round balers with industrial controller as the core of the electrical control system are tendency,which is beneficial to monitor the baling process so as to improve its working efficiency.Therefore,key structure and control system of the steel roller round baler are designed in this paper,so as to improve the automation degree of the baler,predict the clogging phenomenon,and improve the working efficiency of the baler.The specific content and conclusions are as follows:(1)Design of key structure of the steel roller round baler.The round baler is mainly composed of spring-type pickers,baling mechanism,rope-binding mechanism,and unloading mechanism,etc.,the indoor diameter of the bale is 460 mm,and the width is 700 mm.In this paper,a steel-roller-type bundling mechanism,composed of 4 steel rollers in the front body and 6 steel rollers in the rear body is designed.A rope binding mechanism,mainly composed of a frame,a rope guide wheel,a rope guide plate and the like,is designed to improve the rope binding efficiency.Designing a hydraulically driven unloading mechanism.On the basis of the above work,a test equipment for a steel roller round baler was designed,and its working data was collected through tests,providing a data basis for the next work.(2)Design of control system for the baler.According to the working process of the baler,its control process was determined.The industrial controller of model SPC-STW-2612 CMS and the 7-inch capacitive touch display of model SPD-070-AVTG were selected,and the settings and connection methods of the sensors for the baler were designed.According to the working process of the baler,CoDeSys V2.3 is used to program the controller,and CoDeSys V3.5 is used to program the display.A concise and easy-to-operate human-machine interface is designed.Controller and display adopt CAN bus communication method,and encode the source address of each device in the control system according to SAE J1939 transmission protocol.(3)Fuzzy control programming.It is determined that the torque and the change rate of the torque are the input amount and the traveling speed of the baler is the output amount.According to the test data,the change range of the torque m is [0 N·m,220 N·m],and the change of the torque is determined.The rate mc ranges from [-6.60 N·m/s,79.96 N·m/s].The fuzzy control rules are designed according to the actual working conditions,and the results are clarified using the maximum membership method.Using the experimental data to simulate the fuzzy control designed in this paper through simulink,the results show that it meets the design requirements and can realize the real-time monitoring and prediction function of the jam situation.(4)Performance test of the steel roller round baler.Based on the test of the steel roller round baler bench test,the following test conclusions are drawn: the steel roller round baler with fuzzy control system can monitor the blockage and can effectively prevent further occurrence of clogging.By comparing the working hours,it is concluded that the steel roller round baler with fuzzy control system can greatly improve the working efficiency.
