Study On Genetic Variation And Correlation With Resin Yield Of Ethanol Extracts From Loblolly Pine

In this study,we took loblolly pine as the research object,and cut out the shoots in three directions of the 3-year-old seedling forest(block IV,V,VI,VII,54 families,each block took the first,third,and fifth of each family)and high resin yield clones forest(5 plants of each clone,632 individual plants).The extract was extracted and its content and active ingredient were determined.We researched on the genetic variation of the ethanol extract of loblolly pine.We calculated the genetic parameters of the extract,too.We did correlation analysis with the extracted ethanol extract content and the near-infrared spectroscopy were used to determine the resin yield.The main results are as follows:(1)The effective components in the ethanol extract of loblolly pine are alpha-pinene,(1R)-(+)-alpha-pinene,beta-pinene,(1S)-(1)-beta-Pinene,1-caryophyllene,Alphacaryophyllene,dehydroabietic acid,decanoic acid,methyl dehydroabietic acid,myrcene,gemene,neophytadiene,plant alcohol,proanthocyanidins,etc.The active ingredient is at least 0.3 g and the rosin component is at least 0.15 g in the 1g pine.And the 1 g pine needle can extract 0.4 mg or more proanthocyanidin.(2)The maximum ethanol extract content in offspring forest was the 1st,3rd and 5th plants in the VI block of family W31 with the content of 30.80%.The minimum was the 5th plant in the VI block of family W11 with the content of 11.80%.The standard deviation was 3.533,the coefficient of variation was 18.4%.The maximum value of the maximum value in the family is the family 248,the content is 26.60%.The largest average value is the family W31,the content is 23.50%.The largest intermediate value is the family G15,the content is 22.40%.The intermediate value of the extract content is relatively small of each family in the block group.The overall maximum content of clonal ethanol extract was the clone P100,the content was 29.00%.The minimum value was the clone 014,the content was 14.60%.The standard deviation was 2.7810 and the coefficient of variation was 13.08% with the clones.The genetic variability of the ethanol extracts content of clones 1-47-5,clones 6-35-4,clones W07,clones 3-4-1 and clones 6-62-6 was relatively small.According to the enrollment rate of 10%,there are 5 selected families with the content of ethanol extract in the offspring forest,which are family family W05,family G15,family S3,family W31,family S12.The single plant in the excellent family is the fifth strain of the family W05 in V block,the third strain of the family G15 in VI block,the third strain of the family S3 in VI block,the first strain of the family W31 in VI block,and the family S12 in IV block.There were 5 clones with the same content of ethanol extracts,which were clonal 3-55-1 and clonal 250.(3)The probability P of the ethanol extract of the progeny forest in the analysis of the variance between the blocks was 0.2292.It’s larger than 0.05.So there was no significant difference.The probability P value between the inter-family and the pedigree group was smaller than 0.0001,and the ethanol extract were significant differences between the family and the family and the inter-block.The probability of the ethanol extract content of the clones was 0.0298,it’ smaller than0.05.And the ethanol extract content was significantly different among the family.(4)The heritability of the ethanol extract of the progeny forest was 0.0993,and the family was 0.1532.The heritability of the family was greater than the heritability of the individuals.The genetic gain was calculated to be 2.31% based on the 10% inclusion rate.(5)Pearson correlation coefficients between ethanol extract content in offspring forest and parental resin yield ranged from large to small: median ethanol extract content in families,average ethanol extract content in families,total ethanol extract content in offspring forest,minimum ethanol extract content in families,maximum ethanol extract content in families.Their probabilistic P values were all greater than 0.05.There was a positive correlation between the ethanol extract content of offspring forest and parental lipid production,but the positive correlation was not significant.The correlation of median values in families is greater than their maximum and minimum values.
