| Hedychium is a genus of perennial herbs of Zingiberaceae and an important flower in the south of China.It is very prevalent because of peculiar flower shape and pleasant fragrance.Hedychium has a promising prospect of development.Some species were cultivated for cut flowers or landscapes.Some also were important raw material of essential oil.At present,the ginger blast of Hedychium in flower production is serious,which affects the yield and quality,limits the development of flower industry,and causes great economic losses in production.Effective prevention and treatment of ginger blast in Hedychium is an urgent problem to be solved in production.In this study,the types of pathogenic bacteria of ginger blast in Hedychium were identified.15 Hedychium varieties were inoculated with pathogenic bacteria.The varieties of Hedychium with disease resistance to ginger blast of Hedychium were screened,which provided reference for the selection of Hedychium flower varieties and the breeding of new varieties resistant to ginger blast of Hedychium in production.Meantime,different bactericides against ginger blast of Hedychium were screened,which can be used for the control of ginger blast in Hedychium and also provided the theoretical basis for the efficient bactericides selection for ginger blast in Hedychium.The main results are summarized as follows:(1)Pathogenic strain were characterized from infected and diseased Hedychium plants.It was identified as L1 strain according to the morphological characteristics and pathogenicity of the bacteria.The colony was screened with a near-circular bulge,the middle of the colony was pink,and the margin was white.Using 16 S r RNA species specific sequence analysis method to amplify the 16 S r RNA sequence of strain L1,it was found that the similarity of Can R-47,Can R-73 and Can R-75 with the genus Pseudomonas was 99.93%,99.87% and 99.67%,respectively.Combined with evolutionary tree analysis,it was identified that the pathogenic bacteria of ginger blast in Hedychium belonged to the genus Pseudomonas.10 kinds of infected hosts were identified the reaction ability against strain L1.It had strong pathogenicity to turmeric and ginger,and had weak pathogenicity to tomato,potato,tobacco and eggplant.Meantime,peanuts,chili,bananas and mulberry trees can not be infected.The pathogenic bacteria strain L1 belong to No.4 physiological species.(2)15 varieties Resistance of ginger blast in Hedychium,which were planted at Flower Research Center in South China Agricultural University,were investigated of the incidence in manual vaccination and natural conditions.It showed the varieties and strains of H.’ B-JY06 ’ and H.flavescens had strongest resistance,the H.’ BH-02 ’ and H.’ Chenguang ’ had resistance,the H.’ BJ-02 ’,H.’ Jin ’,H.’ BH-01 ’,H.coranarium,H.’ JY-13 ’,H.’ Fendai ’,H.coccineum and H.’ BT-01 ’ had disease-tolerance,the varieties of H.’ Caixia ’,and H.’ BJ-01 ’ and H.forrestii were susceptible.(3)The Efficiency of 16 bactericides on strain L1 was measured by antibacterial circle and turbidimetry in laboratory.It showed that iprofloxacin hydrochloride exhibited the best prevention effects,the Ethylicin,kasugamycin-Zinc thiazole and kasugamycin were better.72% streptomycin and gentamicin sulfate also had a certain bacteriostatic effects.In conclusion,6 bactericides can be used to prevent ginger blast of Hedychium in the actual production.It provided the theoretical basis for the development of effective bactericides for the prevention and control of ginger blast in Hedychium. |
