Research And Evaluation On Forest Tree Germplasm Resources In Pingchang

Forest germplasm resources are the basic strategic resources for the comprehensive development of forestry productivity,which is the antecedent condition of genetic improvement and the important material basis for sustainable forestry development.Located in the southeast of Bazhong city,Sichuan province,Pingchang county,with50.24% coverage,is abundant in forest resources,thus making it the major county for research on the forest germplasm resources in Sichuan province.It is of vital importance for the investigation on the resources species within the administrative area of Pingchang,It will help to establish an effective protection and reasonable utilization planning,to improve the county forestry productivity,and to contribute to the sustainable development of the county forestry.According to the actuality germplasm resources of Pingchang,distribution and geographical environment characteristics,Pingchang county is divided into 6 key certain radioactive-polluted area and 1 certain radioactive-polluted area commonly,the survey set baseline survey 153,500 lines with a layout samples,255,to scour the Pingchang county forest tree germplasm resources base.Investigation shows that there are 252 species of forest germplasm resources in pingchang county,belonging to 171 genera of 119 families.There are 107 species of trees belonging to 77 genera of 49 families,of which 63 species are evergreen trees belonging to46 genera of 33 families and 44 species are deciduous trees belonging to 47 genera of 15 families.79 species of shrubs,belonging to 61 genera of 46 families;There are 38 species of lianas belonging to 32 genera of 23 families.There are 28 kinds of bamboo.Based on the comprehensive evaluation method,compares with related literature has been published,combined with the results of the survey of Pingchang county forest tree germplasm resources of wild,cultivation and utilization of forest tree germplasm resources and fomous trees,forest tree germplasm resources collection,resources,rare and endangered plant germplasm resources to carry on the system analysis and evaluation,concluded that pingchang county forest tree germplasm resources base,distribution range,as well as economic tree species,but the overall poor quality of forest tree germplasm resources,forest stand structure is simple.In the end,the corresponding protection and development countermeasures are put forward for the current situation of forest germplasm resources in Pingchang county,which provides scientific basis for the next forest germplasm resource utilization planning in Pingchang county.
