In this study,a new flue-cured tobacco line,LY1306,was used to study the optimal cultivation measures of LY1306,and the maturity of LY1306 was studied according to the appearance quality of flue-cured tobacco at harvest time. The relationship between tobacco leaf length and quality was studied with tobacco leaf length as variable. The orthogonal experiment of L9(34)was designed to optimize the cultivation measures of flue-cured tobacco. The main findings are as follows:1.On the soil of high fertility level in Luoyang tobacco area, planting density and nitrogen application rate were the key factors affecting the total content of neutral aroma components and sensory quality. When the medium nitrogen application level was 2.5 kg/667m2,the planting density was 1000 plants/667m2 and the number of leaves retained was 20,the physical characteristics of the flue-cured tobacco were better, the industrial availability was higher and the chemical composition was more harmonious.According to the contents of aroma components and sensory quality of flue-cured tobacco, under the local ecological conditions of Luoyang tobacco area, the cultivation measures were as follows:medium nitrogen application level 2.728 8 kg/667 m 2,medium density 1003 plants/667 m2,The total aroma components of fluecured tobacco were the highest when the number of leaves was 22 pieces per plant. The cultivation measures were as follows:medium nitrogen application level 2.2824 kg/667/m2,medium density 1 003 plants/667m2,number of leaves retained 22 leaves per plant was the best sensory quality of flue-cured tobacco.2.Planting density and nitrogen application rate were the key factors affecting sensory quality in soil with low and low fertility in Luoyang tobacco area, and nitrogen application rate and leaf retention number were the key factors affecting output value. When the nitrogen application level was 3.5 kg/667m2,the planting density was 900 plants/667m2 and the number of leaves was 20 leaves per plant, the tobacco plant grew more vigorous, the physical characteristics of flue-cured tobacco was better, and the industrial availability was higher.Under the condition of low nitrogen application level 1.5 kg/667 m2,high density 1100 plants/667 m2 and leaf retention number 20 pieces per plant, the chemical composition was more harmonious.Under the local ecological conditions in Luoyang tobacco area, the sensory quality reached the highest when the nitrogen application rate was 2.9027kg/667m2,the planting density was 1034 plants/667m2,and the number of leaves left was 21 leaves per plant. When the planting density of nitrogen application rate was 2.6237 kg/667m2,the planting density was 1000 plants/667m2,and the number of leaves left was 21/plant,the output value could reach the highest value.3.Under the soil level of high fertility and low fertility,M3 treatment was suitable for harvest of flue-cured tobacco, and the results were better, the aroma quantity, aroma quality and combustibility were relatively prominent, and the sensory quality was the best.4 In the new flue-cured tobacco line LY1306,the upper leaf length of flue-cured tobacco was all within the L6~L9 interval, that is,the middle leaf length(62.01~69.99cm)and the upper leaf length(52.01~59.99cm)of flue-cured tobacco were better than those of the flue-cured tobacco line.Middle and upper leaves were all in the L6~L9 range. The contents of nicotine and total nitrogen, reducing sugar and total sugar of flue-cured tobacco leaves with middle leaf length(70.01~79.00cm)were more suitable, and the coordination of chemical composition was better than that of flue-cured tobacco leaves with middle leaf length(70.01~79.00cm).The chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco with the upper leaf length(60.01~69.99cm)was more harmonious. The middle leaf aroma volume, concentration and sensory quality total score reached the highest in the L5~L10(60.01~71.99cm)range,and the upper leaf aroma temperament, odour, aftertaste, irritation and sensory quality total score reached the maximum value in the L5~L10(50.01~61.99cm)interval.At this time, the aroma temperament is better, the impurity is lighter, the irritation is small, and the overall sensory evaluation is higher.Among them, the contents of carotenoid degradation products and brown reaction products in the upper leaves were the highest in L6~L9(62.01~69.99cm)range,and the results of evaluation were also the best.
