| Take import peat and domestic perlite as raw materials, mixed with different ratio of domestic perlite and microbe. Study on the characteristic of the compound substrat and the effect on different vegetables in seedling nursery greenhouse. The esults indicated that,1. The density, porosity, pH value, EC value and total soluble salts of six tested substrates were all in the standard level. The nutrient content of substrates S1 (import peat∶domestic peat∶perlite = 8∶2∶10)、S2 (import peat∶d omestic peat∶p erlite = 7∶3∶10) and S5 (import peat∶d omestic peat∶p erlite = 7∶3∶10+microbe) are all lower than S0 (import peat∶p erlite = 10∶10), but higher than the other substrates. Whatever, both S2 and S5 have strong dehydrogenation ability and more actinomycetes compared to the other substrates. The number of actinomycetes in substrate S1 is higher than the other substrates. Substrate S1 has the highest nitrogen biotransformation ability among six substrates. Consequently, substrate S1, S5 and S1 will be considered to be the ideal substrate, which are cheaper than the S0 and the nutrient content is in the optimal range.2. The growth values of cucumber seedlings in substrate S1 are higher than S0. Besides, the effect of substrate S5 with microbe is better than in S1. Consequently, S5 is the most suitable substrate for cucumber seedlings.3. The growth values and root activity of melon seedlings in S5 were higher than S0. Consequently, S1 is the most suitable substrate for melon seedlings.4. The growth values, root activity and chlorophyll content of tomato seedling in S1 are higher than in S0. Consequently, S1 is the most suitable substrate for tomato seedlings.5. In production of small tomato seedling, substrates S1, S3(import peat∶domestic peat∶p erlite=6∶4∶10)、S4(import peat∶d omestic peat∶perlite =5∶5∶1 0) and S5 are all superior to S0,but S5 is one of the most best substrates for small tomato seedlings.6. The growth values and chlorophyll content of hot pepper in the five compound substrates are all higher than S0, but the microbe in S5 have decreased the root activity and chlorophyll in hot pepper seedlings. Consequently, S5 is the most suitable substrate for hot pepper seedlings.This research can provide some theoretical suggestions for the industrial, low cost and high quality seedling nursery. |
