In this paper,there are two halogenated dinuclear reduced Schiff bases(HL~1and HL~2)were synthesized from 5-fluorosalicylaldehyde,5-chlorosalicylaldehyde and memantine amine hydrochloride.HL~1is 2-((3,5-dimethyladamantan-1-yl)aminomethyl)-4-fluorophenol.HL~2 is 2-((3,5-dimethyladamantan-1-yl)aminomethyl)-4-chlorophenol.Then HL~1 and HL~2 reacted with Cu Cl2·2H2O,Co Cl2·6H2O and Zn Cl2 respec-tively in the presence of Na OH,and six new halogenated metal complexes were successfully obtained.The ligands and complexes were characterized by melting point,IR,UV-Vis,elemental analysis,molar conductivity and X-ray diffraction.The molecular structure of complexes was speculated and proved.The single crystal structures of the six complexes are as follows:1:Brown,monoclinic,space group P21;cell parameters:a=9.0895(4)(?),b=12.3583(6)(?),c=14.7633(7)(?),?=90°,?=98.373(5)°,?=90°,Z=2,V=1656.13(13)(?)~3,R1=0.0243,w R2=0.0616.2:Blue,monocline,space group P21/n;cell parameters:a=8.2576(11)(?),b=14.5876(19)(?),c=31.4660(4)(?),?=90°,?=94.904(4)°,?=90°,Z=4,V=3776.5(9)(?)~3,R1=0.1693,w R2=0.4160.3:Colorless,monocline,space group P21/n;cell parameters:a=8.2516(10)(?),b=14.5866(17)(?),c=31.4400(4)(?),?=90°,?=95.078(4)°,?=90°,Z=4,V=3769.4(8)(?)~3,R1=0.0742,w R2=0.1216.4:Brown,triclinic,space group P?;cell parameters:a=13.8210(2)(?),b=14.2680(2)(?),c=19.7720(3)(?),?=102.406(13)°,?=97.868(13)°,?=91.234(13)°,Z=4,V=3810.0(11)(?)~3,R1=0.1020,w R2=0.3264.5:Blue,monocline,space group P21/c;cell parameters:a=8.3313(6)(?),b=32.1430(2)(?),c=16.4620(12)(?),?=90°,?=117.128(3)°,?=90°,Z=4,V=3915.0(5)(?)~3,R1=0657,w R2=0.1332.6:Colorless,monocline,space group P21/n;cell parameters:a=8.3273(5)(?),b=32.1567(19)(?),c=14.6792(9)(?),?=90°,?=93.344(2)°,?=90°,Z=4,V=3924.1(4)(?)~3,R1=0.0411,w R2=0.0890.The antibacterial activity of all ligands and complexes was tested at a concentration gradient(10-1-10-4 mol·L-1).The results showed that the six complexes had obvious antibacterial activity against three kinds of bacteria(Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis),and the antibacterial effect of fluorine complex was better than that of chlorine complex,and the antibacterial activity was proportional to the concentration...
