Organic Light-Emitting Diode(OLED)have been attracting uncountable researchers'interests due to its advantage of colorful,energy conservation,high luminscence efficiency as well as the great potentiality in flexible display field.Phosphorescent material is the key to OLED,traditional phosphorescent material usually doped into host material as emittting layer.It is neccssary to introduce steric hindrance group in order to fabrication of non-doped diode.This article,from thinking of molecular design,try to use rigid triptycene group introduce to the design of iridium comolexes,we synthesis and characterize a series of luminscent material.Meanwhile,we fabricate relative doped and non-doped diode in researching the effects to the luminscent ability of iridium complex of triptycene as steric hindrence group as well as its potential in non-doped diode field.The main content as follow:Four new triptycene-based thiazole heterocyclic iridim(?)complexs and one iridium complex without triptycene as contrast.Characterizating the iridium(?)complex's photophysical property and research diffierent ancillary ligand as well as triptycene's influence to phosphorescence performence.we found diffierent ancillary ligand have modified the maximum emission wavelength,which can change the maximum emission wavelength 12nm at most.In 30%doped-concentration PMMA film,photo-light quantum efficiency of triptycene-based iridium(?)complexs are46.3%,however,the reference group is only 14.4%.We fabricated diode with representive Iridium complex.In doped-diode,the maximum EQE is 11.7%of triptycene-based iridum complex,the reference group is 8.3%.In non-doped diodes,EQE of the former improved 3.4%,current efficiency improved 7cd/A,the turn-on voltage decreased 0.8V,when luminence is 1000cd/m~2,the former EQE higher 1.7%than the latter.
