In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economy,the process of urbanization is accelerated,followed by the increase of energy consumption and environmental deterioration and other problems.For example,the heat island problem,which used to occur mostly in large cities,tends to spread to emerging suburban cities.The frequent occurrence of extreme weather,such as low temperature and strong wind,has also gradually reduced the quality of human living environment.Therefore,the study of urban wind and thermal environment is an important topic for clarifying the healthy development of cities and constructing a suitable living environment.In this paper,the following researches are carried out in the aspect of urban wind and thermal environment: 1)Collecting the climate data of the whole year,analyzing the characteristics of lake land breeze in the main urban area of Kunming,Chenggong District,Anning City and Jining District and its influence on the overall climate of Kunming City;2)Use simulation software such as SUFER and FLUENT to study the influence of building layout,street form and texture on the wind and heat environment of the university town;3)To explore the optimization measures of urban wind and heat environment from the aspects of building mix,height,street form and texture.This paper mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)The change time of wind direction in each district of Kunming generally occurs between9:00 and 10:00 in the morning and between 19:00 and 20:00 in the evening.The wind direction in the main city and Jinning is mainly southwest,while Chenggong and Anning are mainly southwest and west.(2)The overall thermal and humid environment of the university town area is comfortable,and there is a large gap between temperature and humidity in the morning and evening.The solar radiation has the greatest influence on temperature and humidity,while the water body has little influence on humidity and obvious influence on temperature.(3)In winter,the building density should be greater in the upwind direction than in the downwind direction to achieve windproof effect.The building density and building height of the city's commercial center block should be controlled as far as possible,and the building height should be maintained at about 60 m.(4)In the process of construction planning for low-latitude plateau cities such as Kunming with distinct dry and wet conditions,various influencing factors of wind-thermal environment,such as the annual average dominant wind direction,control of building forms and sky openness,should be adopted to achieve the purpose of wind in summer and wind protection in winter.
