With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the economic losses caused by urban active faults are becoming more and more serious.There are more and more projects of urban active fault detection and seismic risk assessment in China.How to effectively manage and store the achievement data of active fault detection and provide data support for urban construction planning and earthquake relief is of great significance for earthquake relief and urban construction.Based on the project of active fault detection and seismic risk assessment in Sanhe City,database builder designs and establishes a professional database and 11 special databases to store and manage the exploration data,reports,documents,maps and documents obtained from the active fault detection work in Sanhe City,according to the database building standards issued by The National Active Fault Management Center Information,etc.The 11 topics include standard borehole exploration and quaternary stratigraphic profile establishment,shallow seismic exploration of concealed faults,combined borehole exploration in preliminary exploration stage,1:250000 seismotectonic map compilation of work area,study on seismogenic tectonic environment of study area,combined borehole exploration in detailed exploration stage,late Quaternary activity identification and seismic risk assessment of target fault layer,detailed shallow seismic exploration and target exploration 1:50000 main fault distribution map,1:10000 active fault strip mapping and comprehensive mapping,near fault strong ground motion evaluation and surface fracture zone or strong deformation zone prediction.A spatial database suitable for the storage,display,management,query and editing of the results of active fault detection and seismic risk and hazard assessment in Sanhe City has been established to provide services for government departments and society at all levels and provide data support for urban planning,earthquake resistance and disaster prevention decision-making.On this basis,in order to ensure the data quality of Sanhe active fault database,this paper puts forward a method to control the data quality according to the different stages of active fault exploration.
