The urban agglomeration of the middle reaches of the Yangtze river connects the east to the west,connects the south to the north.It is one of the key areas for the development of the Yangtze river economic belt,as well as a key area for implementing the strategy of promoting the rise of the central region,deepening reform and opening up in an all-round way,and promoting the new type of urbanization.It occupies an important position in China's regional development pattern and is one of the regions that are expected to become the fourth economic growth pole in China.Economic development,traffic first.The comprehensive transportation economic efficiency is a comprehensive indicator to measure the operation status and resource allocation effect of the comprehensive transportation system,and is an important basis for measuring whether the transportation structure is reasonable and whether different transportation modes are coordinated.As the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River becomes the "fourth economic growth pole" of the country,the improvement of economic efficiency is of vital importance.The article analyzes the status of the transportation location,the development of the transportation network and the current status of the transportation economic of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.The transportation network and the comprehensive transportation system have gradually improved.However,with the continuous expansion of the scale of transportation infrastructure,the phenomenon of "high input,low efficiency,high emission and high consumption" is also gradually obvious.The rapid development of comprehensive transportation is mainly the result of resource input,rather than the effect of efficiency improvement.Therefore,the DEA model is adopted to calculate the economic efficiency of the comprehensive transportation system and different transportation modes of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river,and the economic efficiency of different transportation modes is compared and analyzed.Empirical analysis results show that:The economic efficiency of road transportation is the best in all aspects,and the construction scale and technical level need not be adjusted greatly in the future;The pure technical efficiency of railway transportation is low,so it is necessary to improve the management level and technical level of railway transportation;Waterway transportation is the worst in scale efficiency,we should speed up the adjustment of capacity structure,and effectively control the scale of transport vessels and the number of waterway transportation industry.The year 2020 is the year of the end of the 13th five-year plan.Under the requirement of high-quality development background,the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river should improve the comprehensive transportation economic efficiency from the following aspects:accelerat the formulation of the optimization plan of comprehensive transportation system;break the administrative barriers between the three provinces,and establish a scientific and reasonable comprehensive transportation management system;rational allocation of transportation resources,construction of an intensive integrated transportation system guided by the market-oriented government;careful planning of the "last lkm" to improve different transportation The connection between the modes;give full play to the advantages of water transportation,rely on the development of the Yangtze River golden waterway to accelerate the construction of water transportation infrastructure in urban agglomerations;deepen the innovation-driven development strategy to improve the technical level,provide green,efficient and convenient transportation services at low cost;at the same time,pay attention to Talent training,strengthen the construction of comprehensive transportation professional talent team.
