The following qualitative research examines current trends in defining Art Therapy among Art Therapists. It is hypothesized that there are many inaccuracies that prevent those with Art Therapy training to effectively communicate with each other, and to the public, key components on which the field is built; more specifically, Art Therapy modalities. The following study aimed to measure the ways in which Art Therapy is currently being defined through the use of an online survey. Responses were evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively and illustrate the many discrepancies in the way the field is defined and communicated. |
