The purpose of this curriculum project was to equip parents of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with essential knowledge and skills to help to manage their children effectively. There are three modules in this curriculum. The first module is an introduction to the nature of ADHD and impact of its deficits. Various treatment modalities were elucidated. The second module focuses on developing essential parenting skills. The third module covers educational rights and interventions. The module also includes the individualized education program (IEP) and Section 504 process.
