Financial Intermediary Function,Scale And Economic Growth Quality

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emph asized that China's economy has shifted from high-speed development to high-quality development.Promoting high-quality development is the main theme of the current an d future period.Under the new historical conditions,the transformation of the econo mic development model puts forward higher requirements for financial support.China must give full play to the function of financial institutions serving the real economy a nd contribute to the high-quality economic growth.Improving the quality of economic growth has become a new goal for China's development,and giving full play to the r ole of financial intermediation is the key to improving the quality of economic growth.However,in the context of China's overall improvement of the quality of economic gr owth and the imbalance of the level of financial development in East and West,does the role of financial intermediation have a significant positive impact on the qual ity of China's economic growth? Is the development of financial intermediation relate d to the uneven spatial distribution of regional development?Based on China's actual national conditions,this article makes theoretical discuss ions and empirical analyses on the relationship between financial intermediaries and t he quality of economic growth on the existing basis.First of all,starting from the defi nition of relevant concepts,a reasonable definition of financial intermediary and econ omic growth quality is made;then,the theoretical basis of financial intermediation aff ecting economic growth quality is summarized,and the action paths of the two are an alyzed.Then,the scale of financial intermediary is selected as the intermediary variab le,the function of financial intermediary is the core explanatory variable,and the eval uation index system of the quality of economic growth is reasonably constructed and measured using the entropy method.Subsequently,using the ordinary panel model an d the dynamic panel model,the impact of financial intermediary functions on the qual ity of economic growth was analyzed from the national and regional levels;the interm ediary effect model was then used to analyze the financial intermediary scale,financia l intermediary functions,and the quality of economic growth.Relationship.The empir ical results show that there is a significant imbalance between financial intermediary f unctions and the quality of economic growth in China.The eastern region is much lar ger than the central and western regions,and financial intermediation has a significant role in promoting high-quality economic growth in the eastern region,but not in the c entral and western regions.Significant impact;both the size of financial intermediatio n and the function of financial intermediation have a positive effect on the quality of e conomic growth;the function of financial intermediation can promote the quality of economic growth through the intermediary variable of the size of financial intermediati on,with an intermediary effect of 36%.There is a certain threshold for the effect of fi nancial intermediation on the quality of economic growth,and the scale of financial in termediation does not have a scale effect on the role of financial intermediation in pro moting the quality of economic growth.Based on the above analysis,this article puts f orward policy recommendations from three aspects: promoting the development of fin ancial intermediaries,strengthening financial market reform,deepening exchanges an d cooperation in the eastern,central and western regions,and encouraging the eastern and central regions to take the path of differentiated innovation and development.
