An organizational structure is the framework around which a modern enterprise' operations are based on.It guarantees normal operation of an enterprise.It's also a core problem in enterprise management.With rapid social development and fierce competition,if an enterprise wants to keep successful for a long period,it must focus on customer and pay close attention to market changes.In order to improve efficiency and provide products or services that satisfy customers' needs,the enterprise also needs to establish an appropriate organizational structure to manage team,break down tasks,and motivate employees.Researches into models of organizational structure show that the matrix structure addresses shortcomings of traditional linear structure.But the problems which occurred during actual adoption of matrix structure in enterprises call for further exploration and improvement.Author of this thesis explored many related documents and reviewed concepts and researches of individual,group,team,R&D team and matrix structure in the first place.Secondly analyzed adoption of the matrix structure in R company and its R&D team,located problems compromising team efficiency,analyzed root causes for the problems,and then provided suggestion for improvement.The following conclusions are reached:(1)There is no distinction between a good or bad organizational structure.An organizational structure can only be suitable or unsuitable.Its establishment needs to match enterprises' development.(2)Effective matrix structure requires complete processes,competent managers,efficient performance system,and excellent corporate culture.(3)Talents play a fundamental role in corporate development.The matrix structure optimizes staffing and gives fully play to human resources.The conclusions above provide valuable references for R company and enterprises in related fields.
