Research On The Interactive Relationship Between Producer Services And Manufacturing Industry In Hubei Province

Now China's manufacturing industry entered a critical period of transformation,which originated from the Chinese manufacturing production level is not high,the lack of core competitiveness,in our country,especially in Hubei province as a representative of this problem is particularly acute in central region,Hubei province is the birthplace of modern industry in China,is one of the important manufacturing bases,manufacturing development foundation is abundant,especially the development of producer services on the talent resources and geography condition such as required has unique advantages,but its overall development and other central provinces lag relatively.In 2007,the added value of producer services in Hubei province only accounted for 37.7% of the added value of services,ranking last among all the provinces in central China.This is obviously not in line with the status of Hubei province as an important manufacturing base in the central region,and will restrict the coordinated development of producer services and manufacturing in Hubei province and play a supporting role in the "rise of the central region" strategy.A coordinated development of the two industries,which would promote a full growth of the productive service industry,and accelerate the transformation of manufacturing.Therefore,the coupling coordination degree and correlation between producer services and manufacturing are selected as evaluation indexes to evaluate the synergistic development effect of the two industries,and empirical analysis is made on how producer services promote the upgrading of manufacturing industry,and the following conclusions are drawn:The comprehensive development level of manufacturing industry in Hubei province grows rapidly,from 0.1211 in 2007 to 0.7553 in 2016.The growth rate of producer services is relatively slow,with negative growth in 2010,2012,2015 and2016,from 0.0494 in 2007 to 0.1283 in 2016.There is a big gap between the comprehensive development level and the manufacturing industry.The coordinated development of the two industries in Hubei province is good,but still in a state of maladjusted development.The main reason for the uncoordinated development of the two industries in Hubei province is that the comprehensive development level of the two industries is not synchronous.The intermediate demand rate of manufacturing industry in Hubei province for goods and services of producer services is generally not high,and the correlation effect between producer services and technology-intensive manufacturing industry is strong.Relatively backward producerservices cannot fully and efficiently produce backward technology spillover effect on manufacturing industry.Producer services in Hubei province are realized through coordinated industrial development with manufacturing industry and forward and backward technology spillover effect.When producer services reach a certain level,other influencing factors(such as high-level talents,etc.)also promote the upgrading of manufacturing industry.Innovation input plays a significant role in promoting the upgrading of manufacturing industry.Therefore,strengthening the innovation input of manufacturing industry and improving the independent innovation ability of manufacturing industry in Hubei province have important practical significance and strategic role in promoting the upgrading of manufacturing industry.
