Statistical Measurement Of Green Development Level Of Prefecture-level Cities In Jiangxi Province

Since the reform and opening up,China has achieved remarkable achievements.The transition from a planned economic system to a socialist market economic system,from a closed semi-enclosed to an all-round opening has greatly promoted the development of productive forces and enhanced overall national strength.Although economic development has greatly improved and facilitated people's lives,the extended growth methods over the years have also come at a price.The high consumption of resources and energy not only causes resource shortage or even exhaustion,but also causes environmental pollution and ecological damage.The growth mode of “three highs and five lows” has become the most prominent problem restricting economic and social development.To this end,the search for a more appropriate development model is the most pressing issue of the current period.Green development was proposed in the "Twelve Plan." Green development is different from traditional economic growth.It is an economic growth and social development mode with the goal of efficiency,harmony and sustainability.It is an important development trend in today's world.As an important region in the revolutionary period,Jiangxi Province has played a pivotal role in Chinese history.As one of the six central provinces,the development of Jiangxi Province has an important significance in the strategy of the rise of Central China.However,the long-term economic development of Jiangxi Province is dominated by agriculture and heavy industry.The abuse of chemical fertilizers has caused damage to the land,and the air pollution and resource shortage brought about by the high pollution and high energy consumption development model.Therefore,how to better promote the green development of various cities in Jiangxi Province is extremely urgent.This paper takes the prefecture-level city of Jiangxi Province as the research object.Firstly,it introduces the research background and research significance of the thesis.It summarizes the domestic and foreign literatures from five aspects: definition of green development,influencing factors,evaluation index system and path,and then introduces the research content and Methods and innovations in the paper.Secondly,it introduces the connotation of green development,the related theory of green development and the method of empowerment.Then,from the three aspects of economic development greenness,resource and environmental carrying capacity and government support,the indicators are selected to construct the urban green development level index system,and the weight coefficient is determined by the combined weight method.Finally,a comprehensive evaluation of 11 prefecture-level cities in Jiangxi Province was conducted,and Nanchang and Pingxiang were selected as examples for analysis.Through analysis,the following main conclusions can be drawn:(1)The green development of local cities has improved year by year,the overall economic development is good,and the industrial structure is continuously transformed and upgraded.(2)The higher growth rate of green economy is Nanchang,Jingdezhen and Fuzhou.The cities with higher resource and environmental carrying capacity are Fuzhou,Ji'an,Zhangzhou,Nanchang,Pingxiang and Xinyu.The environmental carrying capacity is relatively poor,and the government support is stronger.The high-level cities are Jiujiang,Nanchang and Xinyu.In general,the central region is larger than the western region.The comprehensive level of green development has obvious spatial agglomeration.The higher places are Nanchang,Fuzhou,Ji'an and Jiujiang.(3)Nanchang belongs to economic growth and government-led economic development,with the lowest resource and environmental carrying capacity.Although Pingxiang is generally behind,all data indicators are on the rise.The local municipal governments of Jiangxi Province should give strong support in the protection and governance of resources and environment.Starting from the actual situation of green development in prefecture-level cities in Jiangxi Province,we will give advice on strengthening publicity and education,advocating green development concepts,adjusting industrial structure,innovating production technologies,strengthening government supervision,and strengthening publicity and education.
