The Shaping Of China's National Image In Mainstream Media Reports In The United States

With the enhancement of China's political and economic strength,and the change of international strategy in recent years,as a kind of comprehensive national strength of the country,China's image in the international arena has become more and more important.In China's attempt to change the national image from "he molded" the status quo to "I plastic" mainly in the process,understand the Western media on the image of China,which is particularly important in today's low media voice,the international agenda is weak background.The author will enjoy the "archives record" reputation of the New York Times in the last three years of the front page of the report on China as the object of study,through qualitative and quantitative research methods and high school low framework model analysis of its shaping of the Chinese national image.This paper holds that the New York Times has shown the news tendency through the headlines,sources and other channels,clarifies the laws and reasons for its emergence,and has constructive significance for China to shape a good international image.
