Since cooperative communication has many advantages such as resisting signal fading, expanding signal coverage, and improving channel capacity,it has attracted extensive research by many scholars in the academic world. Moreover, people are also paying more attention to environmental issues, and the green communication using energy harvesting technology has also received extensive attention. This paper combines collaborative communication with energy harvesting to study wireless relay communication systems based on energy harvesting. The main innovations and work of this paper include the following aspects:(1)There are two main protocols in traditional cooperative relay communication, namely AF relay protocol and DF relay protocol. This paper analyzes the system performance of the AF protocol and the DF protocol, and proposes a new relay protocol, namely DF-AF selection relay protocol, the system can choose to use the AF protocol or the DF protocol adaptively to communicate.(2)In the energy harvesting relay system, the relay has many uncertainties in collecting energy and is affected by many factors. The system is also uncertain when selecting a relay, and it is likely to select the same relay for cooperative communication continuously for a long time. This paper studies the outage probability of the system when the system selects the same relay for several slots in Rayleigh channel environment.(3)When the system selects the same relay for signal transmission for a long time, since the relay is powered by energy harvesting technology, there will be energy coupling when allocating power, that is,energy allocation of this time slot is related to the energy usage of the previous time slot. This paper proposes a decoupling method that can effectively solve the energy coupling problem.
