Children's art works have their unique meanings and important values.Exploring children's interpretation of self-created drawings will help adults further discover the connotation and essence of children's art works,and to comprehensively and deeply understand the inner world of children.It also have some enlightening significance for the relevant research on the interpretation of children's art works and even the practice of kindergarten art education.This study used observations and personal interview to collect information,and the purpose is to understand how children aged 5-6 interpret their own drawings.Through the qualitative research method to process the data,the following research findings are made:Children mainly interpret their drawings through behavior expressions and language expressions.In terms of behavioral performance,young children will communicate with others,integrate actions into interpret,and will also create situations to express.In terms of language expression,young children show different degrees of initiative.First,the children will actively introduce the reasons for creation,the content of the drawings,the way of creation,and the signature and naming of their drawings.Second,the children will evaluate the drawings in general and detailed evaluation in a relatively positive attitude.Third,the children use silence,short response,and unwillingness to respond in relatively passive way.Children's interpretation of their drawings presents some characteristics.First,children's interpretation of their self-created drawings reflects the characteristics of children's way of thinking.Second,children would like to pay attention to themselves in the drawings,and interpret around his own image.Third,young children will use a variety of language forms in the interpretation.Fourth,children combine with their own experience,and will recall,associate and image while they are interpreting.Fifth,children have aesthetic activities and emotional experience in the interpretation.Last,the interpretation of children can also reflect children's cognition of art creation and other aspects.In addition,Children's interpretation of their own drawings would be affected by their own internal and external factors.According to the research results and analysis,the research conclusions are finally summed up and some educational suggestions are proposed.Firstly,art resources which satisfy the needs of young children should be provided;secondly,to improve the teaching methods that restrict the development of young children;thirdly,we must create more opportunities to encourage young children to make bold interpretation;fourthly,to care about the inner world of children with the help of their art works,and in the end is to reflect deeply on the research.
