With the continuous expansion of the career guidance education in China,the lack of professional knowledge of career guidance teachers has attracted more and more attention.Improving the Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK)of career guidance teachers is one of the important means of developing their professional knowledge.The study of Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK)plays a positive role in exploring the development of these career guidance teachers' professional knowledge.In this thesis,three expert instructors were first investigated.The classroom observation method and interview method were used to study the connotation of career guidance teachers' subject knowledge including teaching target knowledge,student knowledge,teaching content knowledge,teaching characterization and strategy.Sources include students' experience,university background,teaching materials and teaching reference books,monographs,professional training,expert exchanges,and reflections on their own teaching experience;Seeing from development needs,this thesis also has strong uniqueness.Secondly,according to the research results of the expert career guidance teacher's PCK,the questionnaire survey method and the interview method were taken to investigate the current situation of 104 novice career guidance teachers who have just begin their career.The survey found that,on the one hand,these novice teachers are seriously lacking of PCK;On the other hand,these novice teachers often neglect self-reflection when it comes to source;However,novice teachers are always those who need policy support most in order to satisfied their development needs actually.Finally,in response to the problems of the novice career guidance teachers in the status quo of PCK,suggestions for improvement are proposed:1.Establish a career guidance teacher growth system,set standards for the core components of the PCK connotation,set corresponding learning content for novice teachers before and after the job according to the standard,and make provisions in teaching content knowledge at the official level.2.Strengthen the reflective consciousness of the novice career guidance teachers,and propose four reflection ways to overcome the shortcomings in PCK,especially in terms of source.3.Establish a network practice community for career guidance teachers,use network technology to build a platform for learning and communication,and help novice to achiev modern learning.
