Research On The Cultivation Of Athletes' Morality From The Perspective Of Benevolence

Professional ethics of sports is the sum of the behavior norms of various social roles in sports.Good professional ethics of sports is the basis of fair and just sports competitions and the key to transmitting positive energy of sports to the society.With the rapid development of modern sports professionalization and commercialization,more and more anomie phenomena of sports professional ethics have been exposed,such as withdrawal from false matches,use of stimulants,power and money trading,court violence and so on.The main reason for the emergence of professional ethics in sports in China in the new period is the lack of athletes' subjective virtue.Confucian culture,as the representative of Chinese traditional ethics,has formed a relatively perfect theory of virtue cultivation after more than two thousand years of subtle influence,which provides an important theoretical basis for the construction of professional ethics of Chinese athletes in the new era.This paper intends to study the theory of virtue cultivation in the thought of benevolence,and explore the theoretical ways of benevolence cultivation of athletes.Confucius' thought of benevolence is the core of Confucian ethics.It contains the thought of perfecting personality of benevolent people,loving people and benevolent people,and the idea of obeying etiquette system and fairness and justice in the way of self-restraint,rehabilitating ceremony and loyalty and forgiveness.It is inherently consistent with the theory of athletes' professional ethics advocated in the field of competitive sports,such as fair competition,respect for opponents and As the core content of benevolence thought,"benevolent people love others","self-restraint and courtesy" and "loyalty and forgiveness" have certain guiding value in athletes' moral cultivation.From the point of view of virtue cultivation in the theory of benevolence,the process of virtue cultivation is the process of continuous internalization of human moral consciousness.It begins with the restraint of moral norms on human behavior,goes to the recognition of people's obedience to moral norms,and finally internalizes into their own moral consciousness.The main moral viewpoints in the thought of benevolence include the following parts:Athletes' benevolent virtue cultivation,benevolent people love others."Benevolence" is the most important virtue.It refers to the relationship between people.Benevolence is the first virtue."Love" in the sentence refers to universal love and universal love.Athletes should keep away from evil thoughts,distinguish between good and evil in their career,consider problems from each other's point of view when facing the temptation of interests,improve their moral accomplishment,and participate in competition in a fair and just environment.This can better reflect the athletes' own moral accomplishment and win the appreciation of others.Athletes participate in sports according to etiquette."Restraining oneself and restoring propriety" comes from the Analects of Confucius Yanyuan.Restraining oneself,restraining oneself and excluding one's own selfishness.Rehabilitation is to require that words and deeds conform to the norms of etiquette.Athletes in their career will more or less face some interest disputes,face the temptation of interests and the pressure of competitors,restrain the miscellaneous ideas caused by selfish desires,participate in competitions in accordance with the etiquette of the venue,abide by the rules of competition,and participate in sports activities in an equal competitive state,which can better embody the nobility of the Olympic spirit.Athletes' social outlook.Zeng Shen said,"The way of Confucius is to be faithful and forgiving." Loyalty means that people are encouraged to others from time to time and help them to get on the right track,so they should not be blindly obedient.Confucius said,"Forgive me! Do not do to others what you do not want to do to others." In the process of participating in social practice,we should not only be loyal,but also be like people's hearts,that is,forgiving,pushing ourselves and others.When competitors are unable to influence their competitors' will and behavior in competitive competitions,they should be able to stand up for themselves and achieve what they do not want to do to others.Not only does it not violate the rules of competition itself,but it also prevents the opponent from doing something against sports morality,and encourages the opponent to turn in the right direction.
