The republic of China was established In 1912 and China began a new period led by the emerging bourgeoisie.This just 37 years,regime change frequently,ideology and culture collision and conflict,makes the history of Chinese education as well as the development of the new regime as slow but strong.At the end of the Qing dynasty,the standard of history curriculum was set up.Subsequently,in the republic of China,it was standardized,completed and westernized,and finally completed the transformation to modern education.In the republic of China,many of the characteristics of the history curriculum still have high value today,and the history curriculum standard of the republic of China is beneficial to the development of the history of our country.It can provide some thoughts and references for today's history education,and hope that this article will enable more people to pay attention to the development of education in our country.In this paper,using literature research,comprehensive induction and case study method,comparative method,etc.,by looking at the historical data and the assembly information,such as curriculum standard,detailed study of the specific content of the history curriculum standard,the history curriculum standard teaching target,teaching content,teaching key points and methods,job design was obtained by comparison of the republic of China history underlying characteristics.This paper focuses on characteristics are summarized and summed up in the subject matter of the course of the republic of China,and connecting with the background of that time comprehensive analysis of the causes of the formation of characteristics,thus obtained for some thinking and reference in the subject matter of the today's history lesson.Through the research,it can be concluded that the characteristics of modernization,westernization and contemporaneity in the history curriculum of China are all related to the domestic and international environment at that time.All in all,although the historical curriculum standard of the Republic of China is inevitably subject to limitations such as being too ideal and too arbitrary,its modern characteristics,the spirit of liberal democracy,and the concern of students themselves are all great contributions to Chinese history education.
