Observation On The Clinical Effect Of Strengthening The Spleen And Removing Dampness In The Treatment Of Infantile Eczema

Objective: By treating infantile eczema with Spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type with the spleen-strengthening and damp-dissolving method,which conducts objectively on clinical efficacy and safety,the clinical study of the infantile eczema proceeds in consideration of the theory of children’s physique and pathological factors with the spleen-strengthening and damp-dissolving method.Furthermore,this clinical study clarifies further in the advantages of treating infantile eczema based on the theory of children’s physique.Method: 72 children with eczema with Spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type who met the inclusion criteria were selected clinically.SPSS21.0 software was used to generate random distribution table and random numbers.The ordered numbers were randomly divided into two groups.36 patients in the treatment group were treated with the method of invigorating spleen and eliminating dampness(Shen Ling Bai Zhu Powder added or subtracted).36 cases in the control group were treated with the method of clearing heat and cooling blood(Xi Jiao Di Huang tang Decoction added or subtracted).The two groups were decocted 200 ml every day,100 ml in the morning and 100 ml in the evening,and taken orally within half an hour after meals;two weeks were a course of treatment,and four courses of treatment were observed.The clinical efficacy of the treatment was observed by the changes of the area and severity of eczema lesions(EASI score),itching degree and quality of life.Results: After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.17%.The total effective rate in the control group was 73.52%.The recovery rate of the treatment group was 84.85%,the more significant rate in the control group was 63.64%.There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05),and the more significant rate in the treatment group was better than in the control group.Treatment groups before treatment EASI scores for 8.41±4.91 and EASI scores for 1.71±1.57 after 8 weeks treatment,the control group before treatment EASI scores for 10.49±4.10 and EASI scores for 5.45±3.89 after 8 weeks treatment.Through statistics and contrast the eczema skin lesion area and the severity of treatment group(EASI),itching degree is better than that of control group,the statistical analysis comparison between groups have significant difference(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in skin disease quality of life index(DLQI)between the treatment group and the control group after statistical analysis.The treatment group and control group two groups both can reduce eczema skin lesion area and severity(EASI)score(P < 0.05)and pruritus score(P < 0.05),and at the same time improve the patients’ quality of life(P < 0.05).Conclusions: 1.The spleen-strengthening and dampness-relieving method can relieve skin lesion and itching caused by infantile eczema with Spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type and improve daily life quality.2.The spleen-strengthening and dampness-relieving method is regarded as a safe and effectual therapeutic method to infantile eczema with Spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type.It is worthy to be applied on clinic.
