| This study carried out clinical research with the support of the special project of the Capital Health Development Scientific Research Project "Prevention and Management of Diabetes TCM Based on the Precision Medicine Model"(Project Task Number:First Issue 2016-1-4151).Mainly divided into the following two parts:1 Multi-center clinical researchObjective:To study the feasibility and effectiveness of the clinical application of Chinese patent medicine combined with Western medicine for the treatment of type 2 diabetes based on Internet communication technology.Methods:Using non-random,controlled,multi-center,experimental research methods,combined with communication technology and Internet technology to regularly visit the management model,each center selected a total of 226 patients with type 2 diabetes who met the inclusion criteria.All patients were divided into two groups according to their treatment wishes.The traditional Chinese medicine group received traditional Chinese medicine combined with conventional Western medicine treatment,and the control group received conventional Western medicine treatment.After 24 weeks of treatment,the data including blood glucose,blood lipid levels(total cholesterol,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.low-density lipoprotein cholesterol),TCM syndromes,body mass index.anti-diabetic Western medicine consumption and liver and kidney function changes were analyzed before and after the treatment.Results:1.A total of 210 patients(16 patients were dropped)were included in the statistics,including 103 cases in the Chinese medicine group and 107 cases in the control group.The baseline data of the two groups of patients includes general data,TCM syndrome types.and major relevant indicators.Significance(P>0.05),comparable between the two groups.2.The final 210 patients included in the study,196 of them communicated and returned to the researchers through telephone,SMS,and Internet,accounted for 93.33%,indicating the feasibility of using Internet communication technology to manage diabetic patients.3.After 24 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was 84.46%higher than the total effective rate of the control group 52.34%.The two groups were significantly different(P<0.01)4.After 24 weeks of treatment,the marked cure rate of TCM syndromes in the Chinese medicine group was 71.84%and the effective rate was 92.23%;while the marked cure rate in the control group was 40.19%and the effective rate was 85.06%.The two groups were significantly different(P<0.01).5.After 24 weeks of treatment.both groups could reduce the blood glucose level of the patients,which has significantly different(P<0.01).And there were significant statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.01).This result shows that the traditional Chinese medicine group has a certain advantage over the control group in lowering blood glucose levels.6.After 24 weeks of treatment,both groups could regulate patients’ blood lipid levels,which has significantly different(P<0.01).Comparing total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).7.After 24 weeks of treatment,both groups reduce the patient’s body mass index.which has significantly different(P<0.01).The two groups were significantly different(P<0.01).8.After 24 weeks of treatment,the withdrawal rate of Western medicine for diabetes in the Chinese medicine group was 36.89%,and that of the control group was 15.89%.No significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01)9.After 24 weeks of treatment,the test results of vital signs,blood routine,urine routine.12-lead electrocardiogram,liver function(alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase).and renal function(urea nitrogen,creatinine)in both groups were within normal range.No adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the study.Conclusion:The use of Chinese patent medicines based on Internet communication technology to treat and manage patients with type 2 diabetes has definite efficacy.This treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms.blood sugar levels and blood lipid regulation of patients with type 2 diabetes.At the same time,patients can reduce the amount of Western medicine for diabetes to a certain extent.No adverse events related to Chinese patent medicines have been seen in clinical application,indicating that Chinese patent medicines are safe and effective,and are worthy of clinical application and promotion.This is obviously good news to bring hope to patients with type 2 diabetes.2 Qizhi Jiangtang Capsule clinical observationObjective:To study the clinical efficect of Qizhi Jiangtang Capsule combined with conventional Western medicine in the treatment of Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus based on interview and WeChat platform follow-up model.Methods:The self-contrast research would be observed the changes of various indexes before and after treatment with Qizhi Jiangtang capsule on the basis of Western medicine treatment for the Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus and stasis syndrome.The subjects were given Qizhi Jiangtang capsule with warm water,5 capsules each time,3 times a day.The patients were treated for 90 days.During the treatment period,the patient returned to the hospital every 30 days for a total of 3 visits.The researchers recorded the subjects’ fasting blood glucose and blood glucose 2 hours after each time they returned.The changes of glycated hemoglobin.blood lipids,TCM symptom scores.dosage of Western medicine,liver and kidney function.etc.were recorded before and after treatmentResults:1.The 37 subjects finally included in this clinical study were mainly concentrated in middle age,mostly males.The youngest patient is 31 years old,indicating that patients with type 2 diabetes are getting younger.75.7%of patients had abnormal body mass index.It shows that patients with type 2 diabetes have common problems in life habits.diet structure,physical activity and so on.2.33 out of 37 patients had communicated with researchers via WeChat platform.accounting for 89.19%.This shows that the unique advantages of timeliness.convenience and efficiency of communication technology and Internet technology can further optimize the management of diabetics.It is worthy of clinical promotion.3.After 90 days of treatment,37 subjects had significantly lower blood glucose-related indicators than before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that patients’ blood glucose levels improved after treatment.4.After 37 days of treatment,37 subjects had no significant difference in blood lipid-related indicators compared with that before treatment(P>0.05),indicating that the patient’s blood lipid level did not improve significantly after treatment5.After 37 days of treatment for 37 subjects,15 subjects reduced the dosage of Western medicine hypoglycemic drugs,accounting for 40.5%,indicating that patients can reduce the dosage of Western hypoglycemic drugs to a certain extent after treatment6.After 90 days of treatment for 37 subjects,the TCM symptom scores were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the main symptoms of dry mouth and throat,fatigue,fatigue and secondary symptoms of shortness of breath,palpitations,insomnia,five upset fever,sore waist.knee pain,fixed position.constipation,etc.It indicates that the clinical symptoms of patients have been significantly improved after treatment.7.None of the patients participating in this study had adverse reactions during the study period,and there were no significant changes in safety indicators before and after treatment and were within the normal range.Conclusion:Based on the interview and WeChat platform.Qizhi Jiangtang capsule combined with conventional Western medicine treatment of Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus is effective,and at the same time can further optimize the management of T2DM patients.It can obviously improve the patient’s blood glucose-related,clinical symptoms and quality of life,and can replace western medicine hypoglycemic drugs to a certain extent.It is safe and effective to use Chinese patent medicine to treat type 2 diabetes based on the Internet communication management model represented by the interview and WeChat platform.This treatment management plan is worth promoting. |
