Meta Analysis Of Banxia Xiexin Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Dyspepsia

Purpose: Through the retrieval of the Chinese clinical controlled trial literature of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia published from the establishment of the database to 2019,the clinical efficacy of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia was evaluated by meta analysis,and the difference between Banxia Xiexin Decoction and conventional gastric motility drugs was systematically analyzed,so as to provide evidence-based basis for the clinical efficacy of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of the disease,highlighting The unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine.Materials and Methods: Select keywords and set strict criteria for inclusion and deletion.By using computer search technology and manual search method,the relevant literature of clinical randomized controlled trials of Banxia Xiexin Decoction for treatment of functional dyspepsia was collected,which was published in China from the establishment of the database to 2019.The experimental group was treated with Banxia Xiexin Decoction for dialectical addition and subtraction,and the control group was treated with gastric motility drugs.According to Revman 5.3 software,evaluate the extracted effective data and document quality,and carry out meta analysis.Results:1.Finally,41 articles were included in the meta analysis.The experimental group was treated with Banxia Xiexin Decoction,while the control group was treated with gastric motility drugs.3998 patients(2051 in the experimental group and 1947 in the control group)were included in the study.2.Meta analysis results show that:(1)OR=4.75,95%Cl[3.89,5.80],P<0.00001,which shows that the total effective rate of Banxia Xiexin Decoction group is higher than that of gastric motility drug group.(2)SMD =-1.34,95% Cl [-1.75,-0.94],P < 0.00001,indicating that the improvement of symptom score in the experimental group is better than that in the control group,and the difference is statistically significant.(3)SMD = 1.23,95% Cl [-0.62,3.09],P = 0.19,indicating that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in improving the plasma motilin level.(4)OR = 0.60,95% Cl [0.23,1.56],P = 0.29,indicating that there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusion:(1)The clinical effective rate of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of functional dyspepsia is higher than that of gastric motility drugs.(2)Banxia Xiexin Decoction is superior to the control group in improving symptom scores.(3)Due to the low quality of the literature included in this study and the possibility of publication bias,large sample,high-quality,multicenter clinical randomized controlled trials are needed to further confirm.
