Clinical Observation Of PVP Combined With Jingyaotong Decoction No. 2 In The Treatment Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)combined with cervical and lumbar pain decoction No.2 in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCF).Method:A total of 65 patients who were admitted to the Department of Orthopaedics of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September2017 to December 2019 and were diagnosed with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were collected.All TCM syndrome types were liver and kidney deficiency and randomized.The patients were divided into two groups,A and B,32 in group A and 33 in group B.Both groups were treated with PVP surgery.Postoperatively,a combination of salmon calcitonin nasal spray + calcitriol soft capsule + calcium carbonate D3 tablets was used to prevent osteoporosis.On the basis of this,group A combined cervical and lumbar pain Agent No.2 treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the patients were followed up.The VAS scores and ODI scores of the two groups were observed before and 2 days,1 week,2 weeks,and 4 weeks after the operation,and the final overall efficacy was evaluated.Each observation data was recorded in an Excel table,and the completed data were processed using statistical software SPSS17.0.Result:1.The gender,age,number of compressed vertebrae,preoperative VAS score,and Preoperative ODI score of the two groups were compared between the two groups,and P> 0.05 was obtained.There was no statistical difference,indicating that the basic data of the two groups before treatment Comparability.2.Compare the VAS scores of the two groups of patients: The comparison of the VAS scores of the two groups after surgery and before surgery is statistically different,suggesting that PVP minimally invasive surgery can effectively alleviate the pain symptoms of OVCF patients in the early stage;The VAS scores at each observation time point were compared between the two groups in turn,and the P value was less than 0.05.The VAS scores showed adownward trend,indicating that the pain symptoms of the two groups of patients were gradually relieved;2 days,1 week,2 weeks after surgery The comparison of VAS scores at weeks and 4 weeks between groups was greater than 0.05,indicating that the effect of treatment in group A on pain relief was not significantly different from that in group B.3.Compare the ODI scores of the two groups of patients: the comparison of the ODI scores of the two groups after surgery and before the operation,the P values are less than 0.05,the difference is statistically significant,indicating that PVP surgery has significantly improved the patient’s activity function;The ODI scores of the patients at each observation time point were compared between the two groups in turn.The P values were less than 0.05,and the ODI scores showed a downward trend,indicating that the activity function of the two groups of patients gradually improved;1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks after surgery in the two groups.The weekly ODI scores were compared between groups,and the P values were all less than0.05.The improvement of the ODI score of patients in group A was better than that in group B,indicating that the treatment of group A was better than that of group B in improving the patients’ living ability.4.After 1 month of treatment in both groups,the total effective rate in group A reached96.9%,and the total effective rate in group B was 87.9%.There was a statistical difference between the groups(P <0.05).The clinical efficacy of group A was better than B group.In conclusion:1.PVP surgery can effectively and timely alleviate the pain symptoms of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures and improve the patient’s movement function;2.Taking Neck and Back Pain Decoction No.2 after PVP can further improve the patient’s residual dysfunction and improve the quality of life of patients,which has clinical promotion and application value.
