Professor Wang Xin's Experience In Treating Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Caused By Endometrial Polyps

Endometrial polyps are localized hyperplasia of the endometrium formed by long-term and sustained action of estrogen,mainly causing abnormal uterine bleeding.Clinically,the main manifestations are menstrual flow,prolonged menstruation,inter-menstrual bleeding and post-menopausal bleeding,seriously affecting women’s daily work and life.Endometrial polyps have not been definitively discussed in ancient literature.According to the clinical symptoms of their performance,doctors of the past categorized them as "abdominal mass","uterine bleeding" or "menorrhagia".Chinese medicine believes that the pathogenesis of abnormal uterine bleeding caused by endometrial polyps is mainly due to the disease,such as dampness,heat,phlegm and other diseases,and it is turned into endometrial polyps,which is difficult to fix the menstrual blood,which leads to the occurrence of abnormal uterine bleeding.Western medicine believes that endometrial polyps are composed of endometrial glands,interstitial and blood vessels,long-term estrogen stimulation,no progesterone antagonism,small blood vessels continue to proliferate,followed by increased vascular fragility,leading to abnormal uterine bleeding.Professor Wang Xin has been engaged in clinical work in obstetrics and gynecology for more than 30 years.She has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding caused by endometrial polyps.The tutor believes that the occurrence of this disease is mostly related to liver qi stagnation,blood stasis,and blood non-menstruation.Therefore,the tutor in the treatment of qi stagnation,blood circulation and hemostasis as the basic treatment principle,and self-made "polyposis",with the addition and subtraction with the symptoms,the effect is remarkable.This article provides a new idea and method for the future treatment by observing the traditional Chinese medicine "polyposis" plus or minus combined with dydrogesterone in the treatment of patients with abnormal uterine bleeding caused by endometrial polyps.
