A Clinical Study Of Tongmai Jiangzhuo Granules In Intervention Of IMT And TCM Syndrome Scores In PCA Patients With Phlegm Turbidity And Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of tongmai jiangzhuo granule on the preclinical atherosclerosis patients with phlegm-turbid blood stasis type arteriosclerosis and the effect on carotid intima media thickness and TCM syndrome score,so as to explore the effectiveness of tongmai jiangzhuo granule in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.Material and method:In this study,68 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the project and were diagnosed with preclinical atherosclerosis in the department of cardiology of the affiliated hospital of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine from July 2016 to December 2017 were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group(34 cases)and the placebo group(34 cases).The experimental group patients give the treatment of tongmai jiangzhuo granules,and the control group given tongmai jiangzhuo granules placebo intervention,treatment cycle to 20 weeks,observed before and after treatment,respectively,two groups of patients with carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT),ankle arm index(ABI),brachial ankle artery pulse wave conduction velocity(ba PWV)and TCM syndrome integral variations,and relevant safety index,incidence of endpoint events.The data obtained were statistically analyzed by software SPSS22.0 to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of tongmai jiangzhuo granules in the intervention of PCA population.Results:The results showed that IMT: after 5 months of treatment,the intima media thickness in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),and it was significantly different from that in the placebo group(P<0.01).TCM syndrome score: the two groups after treatment of phlegm turbidity and blood stasis syndromes scores significantly decreased,the same group before and after treatment of TCM syndrome score had significant difference,both the treatment group(P<0.01)and the control group(P<0.05),tongmai jiangzhuo granules intervention effect of TCM syndrome score total effective rate reached 72.73%,the curative effect is similar between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group is better than that of the placebo group.Ba PWV and ABI: after 5 months of treatment,Ba PWV in the treatment group was significantly different after treatment(P<0.05),while ABI was not significantly different.During the study,all subjects showed no abnormal hanges in hematuria routine,12-channel electrocardiogram,liver and kidney function,no serious adverse reactions,and good safety.Conclusion:1.Tongmai jiangzhuo granule has obvious therapeutic effects on symptoms related to phlegm turbidity and blood stasis,such as dizziness,head weight,chest tightness,greasy mouth,and limbs numbness and heaviness.2.Tongmai jiangzhuo granule has a good prevention and treatment effect on the preclinical lesions of atherosclerosis with phlegm-turbid blood stasis,and can effectively reduce the IMT value of patients.3.The clinical application of tongmai jiangzhuo granule is safe with no obvious adverse reactions and no terminal events.
