Research On The Plague In Hulunbuir At The Beginning Of The 20th Century

At the beginning of the 20 th century,Hulunber was a plague-prone area,especially in1910 and 1920,two plagues in Hulunber caused more than 2,800 deaths.It had caused panic with the the three provinces of the northeast China and the attention of the whole country.The infectious areas included most cities in three provinces of northeast China and parts of north China.The first part mainly analyses the basic situation of plague outbreak before 1910,and summarizes the reasons that plague was suppressed in Hulunber area before 1910.The second part and the third part expound the causes of outbreaks,travel path and death toll of plague in 1910 and1920 respectively,The third part also pay much attention to the epidemic in Jalainur.The fourth part mainly discusses the prevention and control measures of two plague cases.The measures of isolation car,isolation house,hospital and ticket sale control established in 1910 had effectively and timely controlled the spread of plague.Measures such as the control system established in 1920 and the strengthening of public health control have fundamentally restrained the plague focus.The fifth part mainly compares the general situation of the two plagues,and elaborates from three aspects:the basic situation of plague,the impact of plague on the three eastern provinces and the progress of prevention and control.The two outbreaks of plague not only pusled the epidemic prevention agencies to set up strict surveillance and control of severe infectious diseases by epidemic,but also promoted the establishment of modern epidemic prevention system.
