A Randomized Controlled Clinical Study Of Runzao Shengjin Nose Drops In The Treatment Of Sicca Rhinitis

Objective:to Observe the clinical effective and safety of Runzao Shengjin intranasal oil in treatment of dry rhinitis,and evaluate the response to treatment for dry rhinitis.Methods:150 patients with dry rhinitis were selected from the outpatient department of otolaryngology of dongfang hospital affiliated to Beijing university of traditional Chinese medicine.These patients were randomly divided into 3 groups:treatment group(Runzao Shengjin intranasal oil group),control group 1(sesame oil),control group 2(saline).The treatment group was treated with Runzao Shengjin intranasal oil.The control group 1 was treated with sesame oil.The patients in two groups were asked for 2 to 3 drops per day on each side of the nasal cavity in the morning and before bedtime.Control group 2 used saline to rinse nasal cavity,morning and night.The total therapeutic course of the 3 groups was 6 weeks.The efficacy indexes(TCM scores)were observed.SPSS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney U test were used for mean difference between groups.Results:1.The total effective:The rate of the experimental group was 93.88%,that of control group 1 was 63.27%,and that of control group 2 was 40%.2.Comparison of TCMs between groups during the same period:Mean differences between three groups:There was no difference before treatment(P>0.05),there was significant difference after One week and two weeks(P<0.05).:Mean differences between two groups:The experimental group were compared with those of control group 1 and control group 2 and the results were significantly different(P<0.05).However,control group 1 and control group 2 were compared after 1 week and 2 week,the two results were no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Runzao Shengjin intranasal oil has a good curative effect and is highly safe.It is worthy of clinical application.
