| Objective:To observe the anti-tumor effect,symptoms and body sign changes of famous ancient prescription Liujun Erchen decoction combined with AP regimen in the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung Carcinoma(NSCLC).as well as the adverse effect of this prescription on AP chemotherapy.Methods:60 NSCLC patients met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.30 cases in each group.There were no significant differences in the general data of age,gender,pathological type.clinical stage.Karnofsky(KPS)score and TCM symptom score between the two groups(P>0.05).Patients in the treatment group were treated by Liujun Erchen decoction combined with AP regimen,and those in the control group were simply treated by AP regimen.Both groups were continuously treated for two cycles,and 21 days per cycle.Related indexes including TCM symptom score.KPS score,short-term objective curative effect,tumor index,weight change,as well as the occurrence of adverse reactions such as bone marrow suppression and hepatorenal toxicity were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPPSS19.0 was applied for results analysis.Results:Recent anti-tumor efficacy and stability rates were 40%and 96.7%in the treatment group and 30%and 93.3%in the control group,respectively,which showed that the objective anti-tumor effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P>0.05).Comparison of serum tumor markers decline after the treatment in two groups showed that the decline of CEA in the treatment group was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05),while the CA125 was not significantly different(P>0.05).The clinical symptoms of the two groups were improved after treatment compared with those before treatment,and there was a significant difference between the two eroups((P<0.01).After treatment,there were significant differences in the scores of cough.expectoration,chest tightness.shortness of breathandspontaneous sweating between the two groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Both the improvement rate and stability rate of the KPS scores in the treatment group and the control group after the treatment were better than those in the control group,and there were significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions after treatment in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group.among which the incidence of symptoms including nausea,vomiting,diarrhea and fatigue was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05):the incidence of bone marrow suppression including abnormalities of haemoglobin,white blood cells,neutrophils and platelet was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05);the incidence of liver and kidney injury in treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and the incidence of abnormalities of BUN,ALT and AST was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the weight loss rates of the treatment group and the control group were 13.3%and 46.7%.the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group,and there was a statistical difference(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Liujun Erchen decoction can slightly improve the anti-tumor effect of AP chemotherapy in patients with advanced NSCLC,significantly improve clinical symptoms and quality of life,showing the synergistic effect of Liujun Erchen decoction.2.Liujun Erchen decoction can significantly decrease the incidence of adverse reactions of AP chemotherapy drugs,such as digestive tract reaction,bone marrow suppression and liver and kidney function damage,showed thealleviating adverse reactions of Liujun Erchen decoction. |
