| Objective: To study the difference of chemical constituents of Ginseng from different habitats and years;Analysis on the Drug Regularity of Ginseng in Ancient Chinese Medical Books for Thirst Dissipation Based on Ginsenoside and Other Components Can Reduce Blood Glucose. Methods: Rapid liquid chromatography-time of flight mass spectrometry(RRLC-QTOF-MS)and multivariate statistical analysis were used to analyze ginseng samples and find out the different compounds. The compounds were identified by using accurate molecular weight and tandem mass spectra. The changing trends of these components in different ginseng samples were observed.Data mining techniques such as computer program Perl language and R language to study the medication regularity of the compound prescription of ginseng for diabetes in ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine. Results: The ginseng samples can be analyzed quickly and accurately by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).There are obvious differences between Ginseng samples aged in three and five years. The content of ten compounds, including ginsenoside Rb1,Rh4 and Rk2,are significant different in the comparison of ginseng aged in 3 and 5 years. The chemical constituents of ginseng from different areas are also different, especially in Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province. The chemical constituents of ginsenosides Rg1,Rf,Rh1,Rb1 and other eleven compounds are different. The study of the medication rules of ancient books prescriptions shows that the prescriptions with high frequency are raspberry,Coptis chinensis, ginseng, serpentine, dendrobium, dried Radix rehmanniae,Tianhua powder,Radix scrophulariae,Poria cocos and razor;in the prescriptions for diabetes, the traditional Chinese medicine with high frequency appears. There are licorice,Poria cocos,Ophiopogon japonicus,Trichosanthin and so on.The most common medicinal flavors are: sweet, bitter, bitter;the most common medicinal properties are: warm, cold, flat;drug meridian distribution is mainly in the lung, spleen, liver, kidney, stomach. Conclusion: LC-MS is a rapid and accurate method for the analysis of ginseng samples and help to find out the different components among different samples. In the prescription of ginseng for diabetes mellitus, ginseng’s participation in compatibility of Atractylodes macrocephala and Poria cocos is highly correlated, which should be paid attention to in clinical application. |
