In recent years,more and more scholars have begun to pay attention to the study of organizational socialization.However,with the progress of time,how does organizational socialization affect work performance and what role person-organization fit plays has not yet reached a consistent conclusion.Therefore the study of the relationship between these three variables,is the further perfect of the system of enterprise management in our country.In this study,we reviewed the past research,conducted a questionnaire survey.Then,we used the software tools such as SPSS13.0 and AMOS17.0 to analyze the data.The results showed that:(1)In the first stage(when newcomers joined the company about three months):There was a significant positive correlation between organizational socialization and person-organization fit;There was a significant positive correlation between organizational socialization and work performance;There was a significant positive correlation between person-organization fit and work performance;Organizational socialization can not only affect work performance directly,but also affect work performance through person-organization fit indirectly.(2)In the second stage(when newcomers joined the company about one year):There was a significant positive correlation between organizational socialization and person-organization fit;There was a significant positive correlation between organizational socialization and work performance;There was a significant positive correlation between person-organization fit and work performance;Organizational socialization can not only affect work performance directly,but also affect work performance through person-organization fit indirectly.Thus,the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)In the first stage(when newcomers joined the company about three months):the level of person-organization fit is higher when the level of organizational socialization was high;the level of work performance is higher when the level of organizational socialization was high;the level of work performance is higher when the level of person-organization fit was high;organizational socialization has an impact on employee's work performance through person-organization fit,but the direct effect of organizational socialization on work performance is the main factor.(2)In the second stage(when newcomers joined the company about one year):the level of person-organization fit is higher when the level of organizational socialization was high;the level of work performance is higher when the level of organizational socialization was high;the level of work performance is higher when the level of person-organization fit was high;organizational socialization has an impact on employee' s work performance through person-organization fit,the indirect effect has increased significantly,but the direct effect of organizational socialization on work performance is the main factor.Lastly,the limitations of our study and future directions were discussed.
