With the development of wireless communication and information industry,antenna,as an important part of communication system,has been paid more and more attention by researchers.In order to meet the modern requirements of the constantly updated wireless communication fields such as mobile communication,wireless network communication and navigation communication,all kinds of antennas have shown the development trend of functional diversification,intelligence,miniaturization,broadband,low cost,etc.in this trend,the antenna technologies such as common port,reconfigurable,beam switching and shaping have attracted more and more attention.According to the development trend of the antenna and the research project,this paper studies and designs the common aperture intelligent reconfigurable WLAN antenna and the broadband compact cosecant square shaped array.Firstly,a common aperture intelligent reconfigurable WLAN antenna is designed.The antenna is composed of eight identical directional dual frequency dual polarization reconfigurable antenna elements arranged in octahedron around the smart beam control circuit,which can achieve uniform radiation gain coverage on the azimuth plane and can switch beams to achieve multiple radiation modes.The antenna array works in 2.4G band and 5G band specified in WLAN general standard at the same time in frequency band.The polarization mode of each antenna unit can be selected between two slant line polarizations.The smart beam control circuit is designed so that each of the eight antenna units of the array can be selected to be excited or not and what polarization state to be excited,so as to dynamically detect the intensity of the two frequency band signals received by the state of any combination of antenna units to determine and select the best working state of the array.The final experimental prototype test shows that the designed common aperture intelligent reconfigurable WLAN antenna can search and track the position of the target antenna and identify the radiation polarization mode of the target antenna,which has strong practical value.Secondly,this paper studies and designs the wideband compact cosecant square shaped array.The array is a 32 element uniform linear array with a spacing of 0.8 high frequency wavelengths and a physical size of 23.36?0 x 0.512?0 x 0.496?0.The antenna unit adopts the structure of double-layer microstrip antenna to achieve 21%relative bandwidth,which has the characteristics of low profile and small size.The convex optimization algorithm and PSO algorithm are combined to synthesize the array of 32element uniform linear array to obtain the required excitation amplitude and phase,so that it can obtain better shaping effect and lower sidelobe level within the required 21%bandwidth.The feed network is designed with Wilkinson structure of double-layer stripline to realize miniaturization.Through the reasonable design of antenna unit,excitation amplitude and phase,feed network and interconnection matching structure,this paper designs a broadband compact cosecant square shaped antenna array with the advantages of wide frequency band,small occupation of three-dimensional space,low sidelobe,etc.the simulation and measurement results show that the antenna array has good performance and strong engineering application value.
