"Problem vaccine" incidents occur frequently. The mainstream media is the main channel for disseminating health news and information. It plays an important role in the spread of public health crisis events and has an important impact on the development process and outcome of public health crisis events. From the perspective of health communication, this article takes the mainstream media in China as the research object, and uses "People's Daily","Beijing News" and "Surge News" to respond to the "2015 Anhui Sixian Vaccine Incident" and "2010 Shanxi Vaccine Incident" "Shenzhen Kangtai Hepatitis B Vaccine Incident in 2013","Illegal Vaccine Case in Shandong in 2016",and "Changchun Changsheng Issue Vaccine Incident in 2018" were compared and analyzed to analyze the number of reports, report form, topic framework, and sources. The aim is to analyze the characteristics of mainstream media's reporting on different "problem vaccine" incidents, summarize the trends of reporting and problems in reporting, and provide suggestions for mainstream media to better report public health emergencies. The study found that in terms of the number of reports, the number of urban media reports in mainstream media is higher than that of party newspapers. Thanks to the development of new media, online media "surging news" far exceeds the number of traditional media reports. In the form of reports, the mainstream media has the most news.It dilutes the investigative(communication)and commentary(editorial / time commentary / special feature)reports. The main topic is to convey health science information. In terms of sources, the sources most commonly adopted by mainstream media are the government and related organizations. The adoption of information sources generally presents richer and more balanced changes. On the issue frame, the mainstream media most commonly uses the news fact frame, followed by the health science popularization frame. It can be seen that the mainstream media tends to present objective facts and separate facts from comments. The use of the issue frame shows a richer trend of change.Presentation of health issues. The differences within the mainstream media are as follows: the party newspaper "People's Daily" has the least number of reports, the largest proportion of news, and exhibits a more objective and neutral position.Presentation of information and health topics. The "Beijing News" has the largest number of reports, with the highest proportion of editorials / time commentary / special articles. It can be seen that urbanized media have stronger public opinion guidance in public health emergencies than Party newspapers and online media. The "Beijing News" values ??the diversified development of the report. The source of the news is relatively rich, and it relies on the manuscripts of the news agency."Peng Mei News" has the largest number of reports and the highest adoption rate of newsletters / topics. It shows a strong initiative to expand the online media. From the source,"Peng Mei News" not only focuses on diversity, but also pays attention to the balance of vocalization.Larger sound space. In the presentation of the issue framework, the Beijing News and Surging News both focused on the economic and social framework and the supervision framework. There are five problems in the reporting of public health crisis events in the mainstream media.First, the topic frame is unevenly distributed, and the news fact frame appears to be one-sided,making certain information less visible.Second, the technicalization of the language and rhetoric of health science reports is not conducive to the public's understanding of highly professional vaccine information and pushes the public into a whirlpool of self-media sensation.Third, from the timing of the report,in the face of complicated public opinion, the mainstream media has been slow to speak, and has not played the role of public opinion to guide demonstration in a timely manner.Only timely voice and positive public opinion can effectively reduce social risks in public health emergencies..Fourth,the media ignored the importance of risk communication, constantly rendering the vaccination crisis, amplifying public sentiment, and causing social panic. Finally, the mainstream media's health communication adopts a one-way missionary communication model. The two-way open, equal and balanced public discussion on health issues has not been compromised, which has compromised the effectiveness of health information transmission. In response to the above problems, the countermeasures and suggestions given in this article include: optimizing the form of reporting and expanding the depth and breadth of reporting;focusing on humanistic care and humane reporting;grasping the initiative of public opinion guidance at the best reporting opportunity;Communication "paradigm.
