The explosive growth of mobile smart devices and iterations of communication networks have promoted the development of modern digital information networks. How to effectively tackle with the traffic pressure of mobile users is an important issue.Data offloading technologies are considered as one of the technical solutions to effectively solve this issue. We focus on improving energy efficiency utilization by combining characteristics of dual connectivity technology and the distribution of energy harvesting to achieve efficient use of resources. The main research work of this thesis is organized as follows:1.Due to the mutual restriction of traffic and power in a download single-cell network, thesis propose an energy efficiency optimization model. With the help of convexity and monotonicity, our paper proposes a layered-algorithm to compute data transmission rates and power consumptions solution.Numerical results are provided to validate the algorithm and the performance gain of the proposed DC-enabled traffic offloading up to 84.26% compared with the heuristic method.Furthermore, this thesis proposes a secure traffic offloading.2.Due to the eavesdropping in the upload Io T network, this thesis propose a joint optimization scheme of the bandwidth and the transmit-power allocations.By characterising the connection between the secure offloading and the transmit-power,this thesis proposes an algorithm to compute the optimal secure traffic allocation.Numerical results have been provided to validate our proposed algorithm and show the performance gain of traffic offloading for the Io T systems.
