Mass Media And The Construction Of Collective Memory

With the development of the times,the media has become more and more diversified.With the continuous enrichment of communication forms,its content has become more difficult to distinguish the true from the false.Especially in the current context of reform and opening up,the mainstream ideology is also facing the risk of being impacted.The dissemination of mainstream ideology is inseparable from the inheritance of red classics.As a classic red story,the "Red Detachment of women" has been constantly interpreted by various forms of media.Mass media plays an important role in the construction of the image of "Red Detachment of women".Therefore,at present,it is necessary to study the media image of "Red Detachment of women".On the basis of literature analysis,case analysis and field investigation,this paper explores the path of mass media to construct the image of "Red Detachment of women".Along the path of "literature,historical materials,media reports,literature and art presentation,landscape display",the paper combs in detail.For more than half a century,"Red Detachment of women" has been repeatedly mentioned and constructed by the media,forming a unique media image.The media image of "Red Detachment of women" under the construction of mass media has experienced three levels of image: history,art and culture.And most importantly,these three images are a progressive process.The first level of historical image is the foundation.After that,the second level of artistic image is created by further adaptation,careful arrangement and shaping.Under the promotion of the first level of historical image and the second level of artistic image,the third level of cultural image has been formed through precipitation and fermentation.In addition,these three media images play an important role in presenting collective memory,constructing ideology and reconstructing national spirit.
