With the continuous innovation and development of science and technology and the continuous improvement of people's living standards,intelligent monitoring has been paid more and more attention and is widely used in many fields.Although the PTZ cameras have been widely installed,the monitoring and tracking of targets still require manual operations.In order to solve this problem,this thesis presents the research on the detection and tracking algorithm of the specific target based on the PTZ camera.Use the tracking algorithm to obtain the position and size of the target,combined with the pan and tilt control system rotation and zoom to ensure that the target can always be located in the center of the monitoring screen to achieve the best continuous tracking effect.The main research contents are as follows:First,the three commonly used algorithms for PTZ cameras are studied,the advantages and disadvantages of the three algorithms are described,and the analysis and comparison are made through experiments.Then,we focus on the TLD target tracking algorithm,which has a good effect on target occlusion,target short-term disappearance and long-term tracking.The TLD algorithm is analyzed and improved from the detection module,tracking module and learning module.The tracking performance of the algorithm is improved by fusing the fDSST tracking algorithm with the TLD algorithm and narrowing the sliding window range in the TLD algorithm detection module.Finally,the PTZ camera automatic tracking system is designed.When designing the control algorithm,it is divided into two parts:the rotation prediction part and the PTZ control part.The system can automatically control the rotation of the pan tilt and zoom of the lens to track the monitoring target in real time,so that the monitoring target is always displayed in the central area of the monitoring screen with appropriate size,so as to improve the monitoring effect.In order to test the feasibility of the whole system in this thesis,the experiment and analysis of the system are carried out by using the Hikvision PTZ camera.The experimental results show that the whole system has good real-time performance and stable tracking effect.
