With the advent of the Internet era, pervasive social networking is facilitating and enriching people's lives with all kinds of services. In social interaction, users need to perform identity authentication to ensure their personal and property security. At the same time, users also hope their privacy, such as identity information and geographical location not be disclosed. Therefore, anonymous authentication technology has become an important means to ensure the security and reliability of pervasive social networking. But anonymous authentication also brings risks to the network, that is,malicious users may abuse anonymity to destroy the service quality of the network. The existence of malicious users and the unfamiliar social relationships make it hard for users to judge the reliability of messages. Therefore, how to dispel users' concerns about the reliability of messages becomes an important issue of anonymous authentication. Most of the existing literatures only focus on anonymous authentication or trust management respectively.Few literatures can apply trust management technology to the process of anonymous authentication. In addition, the centralized structure of traditional anonymous authentication system can no longer support the heterogeneous and complex network topology. How to overcome the dependence on trusted central server is another problem to be solved in this paper. In order to achieve both anonymous authentication and trusted social activity in pervasive social networking,a semi-distributed anonymous trust authentication system in pervasive social networking is designed and implemented in this paper. The system reduces the dependence on the trusted central server with the cooperation of semi-trusted authorized party and the trusted central server. It can support users' off-line authentication, that is,mutual authentication without the trusted central server. The system consists of two schemes: an anonymous trust authentication scheme and an anonymous trust management scheme. The trust evaluation function of the former can be implemented through the latter. In this paper, the anonymous trust authentication scheme uses bilinear pairing-based digital signature technology to guarantee the security requirements of user communication in pervasive social networking. In order to solve the problem of users' concern about message reliability in anonymous communication, the users' global trust values are evaluated, then users can get tokens corresponding to their trust values and construct their own publicprivate key pairs in an ingenious manner. The message receiver will execute some operations on signer's public key, then the identity legitimacy as well as the global trust level will be verified by finding the location of the operation result in the trust related list.Multi-message signature aggregation and batch verification are supported in this paper to improve the efficiency of anonymous authentication. The correctness, security and superiority of the scheme are proved by theory analysis. The performance testing results show high computational performance with comparison with other schemes. In the anonymous trust management scheme based on trust rating feedback, global trust evaluation encourages users to conduct good social behavior, while local trust evaluation helps users to infer the trust level of message senders more accurately. For global trust evaluation, rating feedback mechanism and weighted voting algorithm are used to evaluate the trust value of all users. For local trust evaluation,a user first calculates the direct trust value according to interaction records, and then calculates the local trust value by combining global trust level and direct trust value. In the whole trust management system, the influence of personal preferences on trust relationships as well as the attenuation of trust rating reference is considered. The effectiveness and robustness of the scheme are verified by simulating malicious attacks. In order to verify the practicability of this research,a secret chat application called Anony Chat is developed based on the proposed anonymous trust authentication system. The performance such as efficiency, message delay,CPU utilization, memory usage and communication overhead are tested. The test results show that the application performs well in all aspects.
