With the rapid development of modern aircraft technology,the problem of air maneuvering target tracking has attracted wide attention.Air maneuvering target tracking is a key part of modern radar technology,which has high application value.Based on the analysis of existing target tracking methods,this paper focuses on the research of filter algorithm,target motion model and tracking algorithm.Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional filter and motion model,a space dynamic multi model algorithm is proposed to realize the accurate tracking of air maneuvering target.Then,aiming at the shortcomings of the target tracking algorithm,a model set switching algorithm is proposed to further improve the tracking accuracy of the target tracking method for maneuvering air targets.The achievements of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)aiming at the problem that the existing Kalman filter can not process the threedimensional measurement information of the air maneuvering target at the same time,and the problem that the single model tracking algorithm will lose the tracking target when the target is maneuvering,this paper proposes the spatial dynamic multi model algorithm.The algorithm takes into account the handling of the height change of the air maneuvering target,improves the existing Kalman filter by establishing the target motion model in three-dimensional environment,and realizes the accurate tracking of the air maneuvering target by combining the dynamic multi model algorithm theory.Simulation results show that: compared with single model tracking algorithm,the overall tracking effect of the algorithm is better,and the target will not be lost.(2)in view of the problem that there are still mismatches in the dynamic multi model target tracking algorithm that affect the tracking accuracy,a model set switching algorithm is proposed.The algorithm sets the corresponding model set according to the specific motion situation,and outputs the optimal estimation of the test set-correspondinmodel set by judging the motion state of the target.The simulation results show that compared with the dynamic multi model algorithm,the algorithm can output the estimation results of the internal optimal sub algorithm in each motion stage,and the tracking accuracy is higher.(4)the radar target tracking system is built based on SystenVue platform.Through the programming interface of the software,the algorithm components are designed to apply the algorithm proposed in this paper and add the dynamic display function of the results.Complete the whole process from radar transmitting signal to system output dynamic tracking result.The simulation results show that the spatial dynamic multi model algorithm is suitable for the on-line radar system which pays attention to real-time performance,while the model set switching algorithm is suitable for the off-line radar system which requires higher accuracy.Both algorithms can solve the problem of air maneuvering target tracking,which has certain portability and practicability.
