The fiber micro-cavity structure has many advantages,such as small size,easy preparation,easy integration and so on.It can be integrated with optical communication components,such as optical waveguides and modulators,which can greatly reduce the size.Therefore,the preparation and characteristics of the fiber micro-cavity structure have become a research hotspot in the fiber optic sensors area.At present,many researches focus on the special optical fiber due to its unique structure and inherent characteristics.Therefore,the combination of special fiber and microcavity structure is very important for the research of new type sensor,and it also has symbolic meaning.In this paper,based on the research background and status of micro-cavity structure sensors at domestic and abroad,a new micro-cavity structure sensor based on triple cladding quartz special fiber(TCQSF)is proposed.The sensing characteristic of temperature,refractive index and pressure is analyzed,respectively.The main content is included as follows:Firstly,the working principle of TCQSF-D micro-cavity structure sensor are researched,and the transmission mode,transmission spectrum and Fourier spectrum are analyzed and studied in detail,respectively.Then,the preparation processes of the TCQSF-D micro-cavity sensors are studied in detail.The parameters of splicing strength,splicing time and propulsion are analyzed in detail during the splicing of single mode fiber(SMF)and TCQSF,and the different sizes of micro-cavity structures have been achieved.Next,the relationship between the micro-cavity of TCQSF-D and the interference spectrum is discussed,the transmission spectrum and temeprature sensitivity are analyzed theoretically.The measurement platforms of temperature and refractive index are set up,and the realationship between the temperature,refractive index and wavelength shift are discussed.Finally,the sensing characteristics of lateral and axial strain in TCQSF-D micro-cavity structure sensor are analyzed in detail,and its load conditions of TCQSF-D is also studied,respectively.The measurement platforms of lateral and axial strain are set up,the realationship between the strain and wavelength shift is discussed.
