A Construction Method Of LDPC Convolutional Codes Based On RA-LDPC Codes

Since LDPC code was rediscovered in 1996,it has attracted many researchers to construct and analyze in information and communication career.In recent years,with the rapid development of 4G and 5G,LDPC code sets off a boom once again.LDPC-CC,as a special kind of LDPC code,combines the characteristics of LDPC codes and convolutional codes and exhibits superior performance compared to normal LDPC code.It shows potential application prospects in some fields like optical fiber communication and broadcast communication.This essay proposes an RA-LDPC-CC code that combines the characteristics of both LDPC-CC and RA-LDPC.Meaningful works belonging to this paper are listed as below:Firstly,this essay proposes a novel block method for thematrix based on the algebraic structure model for thematrix of the RA-LDPC code.Thismatrix blocking method can be well matched with the parity check matrix_?89?of LDPC-CC.Therefore,a new construction method of the semi-random and semi-algebraic structure of the_?89?matrix of RA-LDPC-CC is developed.The RA-LDPC-CC designed in this essay has a semi-algebraic structure.Compared with the existing general LDPC-CC,the parity check matrix reduces the storage requirements of LDPC-CC in a degree without performance loss.Due to the characteristics of its semi-random structure,the search area defined by the algebraic structure is further optimized in the future,which could get a performance improvement in potential as well.Secondly,this essay puts forward a linear coding algorithm for RA-LDPC-CC on the basis of the encoding algorithm and decoding algorithm of LDPC-CC.Especially,the paper analyze the pipeline decoding algorithm of LDPC-CC in detail and proposes the pipeline decoding algorithm for the RA-LDPC-CC.At last,this essay gives out the simulation platform for the RA-LDPC-CC using C language,which helps finish the simulation work and the analyzing work to go on.
