Design And Implementation Of Product Information Retrieval System Based On EPCIS

The EPC(Electronic Product Code,EPC)network is the IoT system architecture specification introduced by the International Article Numbering Association GS1.By assigning an Electronic Product Code to each physical product and providing corresponding Information Service(IS),it has been widely used in various supply chain management.However,the current EPC-based applications are mainly limited to product tracking and traceability.There are still open issues such as inconvenient maintenance of descriptive information for introduction of products in the EPC network,lack of support for the retrieval of IoT product information,and difficulties for the endusers to obtain such information.This paper takes the product information with EPC mark as the research object,designs and implements an product information retrieval system based on EPCIS(Electronic Product Code Information Service),realizes the publication,integration and inquiry of product information according to EPCIS standard for merchants and end-users,provides IoT information retrieval services of EPC-identified products.The main functional modules of the system include:(1)Address Resolution Module of Product Information Service: This paper analyzes and studies the EPCIS and ONS(Object Name Service,ONS)standards,designs and implements an address resolution module of product information service with code conversion and NAPTR parsing functions for obtaining the address of information service through the related product identification of EPC URI,thereby it can obtain corresponding product information by visiting the address obtained;(2)Product Information Integration Module: According to the EPCIS related standards,designs and implements the product information collection function based on EPCIS EventDocument,proposes the product information storage strategy based on MongoDB,realize the function of public ing,storing and real-time synchronization of product information;(3)Product Information Query Module: This paper establishes the product information content including EPCIS-based basic information and description information of product through the analysis of ElasticSearch query mechanism and EPCIS,designs and implements the “MongoDB+ElasticSearch” storage strategy of product information and provides User-oriented product information retrieval service by using EPC.This article uses JAVA,Pyhon and JS as the development language,and uses MongoDB database and ElasticSearch technology to implement various functional modules,and completes the functions of EPCIS-based product information collection,storage and query.System function test proves that the system has some certain practical values.
