Anti-SPAM Techniques Research For Enterprise Email System

Since the advent of the 21 st Century,the Internet technology is evolving rapidly.Email is playing a more and more important role in our daily life.Particularly for corporate users,email brings super convenience for corporations and impacts the internal communication and external business.But the pros and cons of email should be both considered.The widespread application of email also brings with it malicious software,junk mail,viruses and illegal content.These malicious hazards pose threat to corporate security.If corporate resources are exposed to the harm of malicious software,junk mail,viruses and illegal content,these corporations would not function effectively because the interwork bandwidth and server resources would be wasted.The information leakage could also occur and even worse the corporations might go bankrupt if the harm could not be eliminated.In this information era,corporations should pay special attention to email system security and email information transfer management.This paper discusses the important value in Anti-SPAM techniques on Enterprise Email system.Introduce the harm of SPAM for society especial Enterprise,analyze the current status of SPAM home and abroad.The main of enterprise anti-spam work would have to prevent SPAM attacks and execute Anti-SPAM tasks.The paper encountered the defect of SMTP protocol lacks verification and SPAM updating constantly problems against email attacks and Anti-SPAM tasks,analyze principle and provide the collaborative solutions.This solution uses the multiple technologies to work together: 1.deploy mail gateway,design the Email pipeline flow,SMTP session and sender authentication in order to offer deep protection for email system and prevent SPAM attacks.2.Use reputation filtering,email filtering,content filtering,and anti-spam engine,anti-virus engine to detect and filter SPAM emails effectively.3.Through Web management interface,the system admin could check the real-time observation and the status of inbound mail flow and Anti-SPAM,then change/update the mail flow policies according to the latest analysis reports.4.Deploy the Exchange Server with the Anti-SPAM function and simulate email attacks,collect the Enterprise data and analysis,this method is proven to be reliable and experimental data shows 84% of emails could be successfully detected as SPAM,95% of SPAM emails could be identified.In addition,in order to protect the enterprise mail server from SPAM relay,blacklists check is also proposed to effectively monitor enterprise IP address and domain name,to prevent adding to blacklist.It's guarantee the safety of enterprise email system to combine with Anti-Spam tasks and email system monitoring.
