With the rapid development and popularization of the Internet, the number of Internet users in China has exceeded 800 million as of June 30,2018,and the Internet usage rate is close to 60%.Internet information technology is revolutionizing the way Chinese people live, behave, and feel. How to allocate various resources effectively, adjust social conflicts and maximize people's subjective well-being while developing information technology has become an urgent practical and theoretical problem. This paper finds that there are strong correlations among Internet use, class identification and subjective well-being.However,there is still a lack of reasonable speculation and measurement of the relationship between the three.Based on a review of the literature on Internet use, class identification and subjective well-being,this study proposes research hypotheses and constructs a conceptual model.Secondly, the latest authoritative data of China's earliest comprehensive and authoritative comprehensive social survey of China(CGSS2015)were adopted and invalid samples were removed. Finally, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and mediating effect test were used to process the data and test the research hypothesis. The study found that there was a significant positive correlation between Internet use and subjective well-being,and class identity positively affected the relationship between Internet use and subjective well-being through partial intermediary utility.(1)the higher the frequency of Internet use,the stronger the subjective well-being.(2)the higher the frequency of Internet use,the stronger the class identity.(3)class identity positively affects subjective well-being.(4)class identity in the use of the Internet and subjective well-being of the relationship between play a part of the intermediary role.Demographic factors such as gender, age, education background, ethnicity, religious belief, political status, household registration and income also have different degrees of influence on subjective well-being.In short, class identity plays a partial mediating role between Internet use and subjective well-being,and it itself, like Internet use,can directly affect residents' subjective well-being.The results prove the importance of Internet Governance in enhancing individual class identity and national well-being.Policymakers should speed up the modernization of social governance tools and governance systems in the Internet era, prevent and resolve the major class identity risks and class contradictions in the Internet era,and enhance national well-being.
